What a surprise (shadamy fan fiction)

chapter 5

Amy's POV

We finally arrived at the Ice cream shop after the little sing along in the car

We all got out of the car and went to the window. I noticed some rabbit ears behind the counter. I then knew it was cream the rabbit! (Cream is Amy's friend who is most likely the goody goody type)

Amy: Cream? *sees ears pop up over the corner and walks over*

 Cream: Amy! Rouge! *she finishes setting up the stand and leans on the counter*

Rouge: You work here? This place seems great!

Cream: Yup, I love seeing people smile and well I see lots of people smile here! Now what are your orders for me?

After ordering, cream went to get us our orders. We sat in a booth and shared some jokes and stories about last night.  Apparently my kids with shadow want the most surprising thing last night, apparently a groups or people threw knuckles onto the couch and tickled him pink!

Rouge: Ugh I'm bored!

Shadow: it's only been a few minutes, you can wait a bit more. *visibly annoyed at her comment*

Ever since last night shadow really hasn't looked at me since. Maybe I shouldn't mention it, just a party trick.

5 minutes passed and our ice creams was finished. 

Amy: Thanks Cream! We appreciate it

Cream: of course! I hope you guys have a good day!

She leaves and we start playing some truth or dare to pass the time. Next thing we know were walking to the park.

Knuckles POV

We made it to the park and continued truth or dare. It started getting dark and I could tell shadow was getting annoyed with all these dares, so we headed back to the car. I can tell he wanted to say something to amy, but I guess hes not used to confrontation.

Amy: wow it got dark quickly, maybe we should head back now.

Rouge: dont worry well be fine, I do agree we should go back though. 

We all agree and as we head towards the car, the girls start telling stories and I make sure were all safe. Even if rouge can be a bit hard headed sometimes seeing her out with friends makes me happy. 

We finally see the car and I noticed shadow looked like he had....fun! I mean he never had fun, will except for when he was torturing little kids by saying curse words in front of them but he actually looked happy

Rouge: Ah finally, c'mon! Or do you not want to go home? *open the backseat door to shadow like a lady* 

Shadow: Alright alright, don't rush me, maybe I wanna stay. *jokes around and head towards the car*

I see Amy opening the door and i had an amazing idea.

Knuckles: Hey amy catch me! *runs full speed towards amy and knocks her into the car on top of shadow*

I sit up and see shadow holding amy as she cussed me out for surprising her! I can see her blush behind her strong language.

After a while, Shadow blushed, so did Amy. She gets up back in her seat and turns to me 

Amy: well c'mon let go already! * blushing from anger and embarrassment*

Rouge: Ahaha! That was hilarious! Let's go knuckles, home isnt so far.

Knuckles: alright, let's get going.

*le Time skip*

Shadows POV

We finally made it to knuckles house And I realized i was still blushing from when Amy fell on top of me....ugh why can't I just forget about it, but I dont...ugh my head hurts. That dumb red jerk better apologize soon.

Rouge: Ah, home sweet home! *parks and opens the door for everyone *

Knuckles: hey let me open doors, I'm supposed to be a gentleman!

Rouge: you can be a gentleman and open the door to the house for me *tosses him the keys and helps amy out*

Shadow: Well we should be heading home now, thanks rouge I got it from here. *puts a hand on Amy's shoulder to show hell take her home*

Rouge: *looks shadow up and down before whispering in his ear* dont blow it you nerd. *hugs amy goodbye and heads inside her home with knuckles*

Amy: well that was fun! Thank you for offering a ride but I can walk home, I wouldn't wanna bother yah. *starts turning towards the sidewalk*

As she turned around I grabbed her arm. 

Shadow: Wait can I talk to you for a minute?

 She turned around and nervously looked up at me.

 Amy: um sure! 

I drag her where the others can't hear. "Amy...."
