In The End; I Lost It All Chapter 10:

Jake Heads Goes On UK Tour; Avril Misses Him...

(Jake's POV)

A few weeks later, the boys and I are headed back out again on tour, this time having an all UK (United Kingdom/Britain) run. Sadly, our girls could not come along for the ride; so here we are saying goodbye (well more like 'see you soon') to them. Avril wraps her arms around me tight, as if she doesn't plan on letting me go. I hug her tighter, knowing I'll miss her more than words could ever say. I whisper words of comfort in her ear, telling her I will home sooner that she thinks. She smiles at me, and nods her head, slowly letting go of me.

Passionately kissing her lips, I then grab my bags and head to the check-in station and hand my bag over to the steward, grabbing my other carry-on bag and making my way to security. Avril waves goodbye to me, and blows a kiss in my direction. I catch hers and send one back to her. The guys do the same with their girls and we all head to security, passing through the security check and heading to the terminal. Our flight is set to leave at 8:00 a.m. meaning we'll arrive in London at 4:00 p.m. We all decide to get something to eat before the plane ride, and get some small necessities (Dramamine, Ginger Ales, etc...) for the long journey.

Once we manage to get on the plane, I find my seat, which happens to be a window seat ('YES!' I think to myself mentally.) The other guys got seats in the middle section, but I got a window seat all to myself, with no one sitting beside me. After we begin our ascent into the air, I begin playing some music to help with the popping sounds in my ear. I play quite a few of my girlfriend's songs, which I find to be fun and upbeat to listen to. (All lyrics credited to Avril Lavigne, since she writes her own lyrics for the most part)
