Adrien was just sitting in his room in thought when he heard his door open.

"My lady!"

"I figured a certain Cat would want his miraculous back." she winked.

"Thank you! How did it go with Lila? I wish I could've helped you."

"It's all right. You didn't have your powers, so if you were there, it could've gone worse. But it actually went great! She didn't hit me, and we actually became friends!"

"Wow, that's amazing! Even after everything."

"I like to think most people at least have some good in their heart. I could see it in her."

"I can see it in you, too."

Ladybug blushed as Adrien put his ring back on, causing Plagg to appear. "Good to see you again, buddy."

"Yeah same. Hey do you by chance have any Camembert on you? I haven't eaten in sooooo long."

Ladybug giggled.

"Oh! I'm sorry, you haven't met my quami yet. Ladybug, meet Plagg. Plagg, Ladybug."

"Pleasure's all mine." Ladybug smiled.

"Wow I'm finally seeing Adrien's girlfriend. You're prettier than he described."

"Hey!"

"It's ok, I get what he meant. You're a cute little guy."

"Well anyway," Adrien continued, annoyed. "I guess now that you know who I am and who my quami is, can I witness the real you?"

Ladybug's earrings started to beep. "I-um-I can't!"

"Please? I'm begging you!"

"I can't show you the real me! What if I'm not who you expected? What if I'm not good enough? You'll not want me anymore."

"I promise I won't leave you. You're the love of my life."

Her earrings beeped again. She was about to de-transform soon.

"My identity is about to be shown in a few minutes, so..I guess so. You really won't leave me?"

"Never."

She sighed. "Ok." Moments went by in silence until her earrings beeped for the last time and her costume faded away. When Adrien saw that Ladybug was Marinette, he didn't say anything. He turned pale and stood in front of her like he had seen a ghost. It scared Marinette. What had she done? She started to get emotional. "I knew you'd be disappointed! I never should've done this! Are you gonna at least say something? Adrien? Adrien? ADRIEN?!"

"Wow."

"What did you say?"

"It's the only word that's coming to my mind: wow."

"You mean wow like WOW or wow like, 'Oh. Wow.'"

"I mean, how did I not see it all this time? Oh Marinette, my Ladybug." He said calmly as he stroked her hair.

"But I'm just me, Adrien. A clumsy girl who lives at a bakery. You're a model. Son of Gabriel Agreste. You're wonderful."

"And you don't think you are?"

"Not like you."

"This is why you were afraid to tell me you were Ladybug? I may be a model for a famous designer that happens to be my father, but that doesn't mean I'm perfect. Marinette, you are one of my best friends and now I know you're the girl of my dreams. You're beautiful, smart, talented. I've never met someone like you before." Marinette looked into his eyes. "And Marinete?"

"Yeah?"

"I think I'm in love with you."

"We'll have to see."

"What do you me-"

She pulled him in for a kiss. Both of their cheeks immediately turned red.

"I guess that's our second kiss, huh?"

"Well, technically our third."

"Wait what?"

"Remember when we fought Dark Cupid?" We-"

Unfortunately, Tikki had something to say. That question would remain a mystery for a long time.

"Oh Marinette, I'm so happy for you! It's like you guys are made for each other. Bye the way, hi Plagg!"

"Long time no see, Tikki."

"Wait," Adrien blurted. "How long have you two known each other?"

"Long enough."

"Plagg...you mean to tell me you've been aware of Tikki this whole time? I could've found out about Marinette much sooner!"

"Adrien, you've had plenty of opportunities. Don't pin this one me, 'kay?"

"Really Adrien, it's ok. We realize who we are now, and that's all that matters. Plus, I didn't want that to happen."

"You're right, princess. I love you."

"I love you, too."

They kissed once more. At last the two super heroes saw their true selves. What happens now? All we need to know is there would be plenty of chances for them to defeat Hawkmoth and live their normal lives, but they would be much more special. Why? Because Adrien and Marinette had found a miraculous power that was always so strong: love.
