Ashley's pov

I'm so excited, Soda and I are on our way to who knows where right now. We're somewhere in the boons, I really wanna know where we're going. I looked over at Soda who was just laughing at the sight of me sitting in the seat next to him trying to figure out where we're going.

"Soda come on we're are we going?" I pleaded.

"You're gonna have to wait to find out till we get there," Soda said chuckling.

"Ughhhhhh," I said exasperated and turning my back to him.

I really don't know where we're going. We're to far away from any good restaurants in town. I've never even been this far South before, my parents don't like to get away from the house much so I've only been to a few places out of town. I looked out my window watching the trees fly bye down the old dirt road and I went back to when Soda and me first met..........

I was walking around by myself late at night, which I shouldn't have done, but at that time I didn't care. I came across a park I had never seen before and I sat down on a bench and just cried my eyes out. My parents were screaming at each other and my brother was who knows where so I had to get out. Someone (Soda) came behind me and patted me on the back, I turned around and saw a guy with chiseled features and movie star handsome good looks, his eyes shining in the moonlight. He saw I had been crying and immediately got a worried look on his face. He sat down next to me and started consoling me, we talked for a while about just about everything. He had his arm around me protectively the whole time making me feel safe in his embrace.

Ever since the first time I met Soda I have always known that I was going to spend the rest of my life with him. He is the perfect match for me, my soulmate.

I looked up and saw we were in a parking lot and Soda was parking the car. I looked up and saw a sign that said Texoma Lake. I wonder why we were here, I didn't bring a bathing suit. It was about 9:00 now and the sun was beginning to set. I looked over at Soda and he was smiling that movie star handsome smile of his, he got out of the car and came over to my door and opened it for me and helped me out. We held hands and walked towards the beach, we reached the sand and I took my sandals off so I could feel the sand beneath by feet. Soda did the same as I ran to the shore looking at the beautiful sunset gracing the water. Soda ran up to me and grabbed me off my feet spinning me around in a circle, setting me down in front of him. I looked up at his eyes smiling, he leaned in and kissed me. It was perfect the sun was setting I was kissing the love of my life, it couldn't be better. I leaned away from his kiss and looked out to the shore and watched the pink sun cascade into the lake.

"It's beautiful," I said looking at Soda.

"Yea, it really is. It's better I get to see it with you," Soda said looking at me with so much love and sincerity.

"So, what do we do know," I said as the sun finally disappeared into the lake.

"Well," he's said picking me up bridal style.

"Where are we going?" I said looking deep into his brown eyes.

"Were gonna get a blanket so we can look at the stars," he replied.

"Soda, I love you," I said looking deep into his eyes.

"I love you to," he replied kissing me.

Sodas pov

I'm so nervous, I'm gonna purpose to Ashley but what if she doesn't say yes. I mean the date is going good but that doesn't make me completely forget that her parents are making her to go to college. I set down Ashley and pulled out a blanket from the trunk. I walked back over to the sand and set down the blanket. We both laid down and looked up at the stars sprinkled across the sky, I put my arm around Ashley and she laid her head on my chest. It was perfect for that moment, that hour of laying there with Ashley helped me forget that she might be leaving in a week. It helped both off us forget that we might not be together cause of my mistake and a forced future.
