Sodas pov
Life is going great, I'm engaged to Ashley were thinking about wedding details everything is running smoothly. Today we're going to try and come up with a place to have the wedding. We're on a tight budget so it might just have to be our house but I want to make Ashley happy, so I'm willing to use some of my savings to make it happen.
I was suppose to pick her up at her house and she would have places that we could go and check out. I arrived at her house and Ashley walked out with a beautiful sundress on and multiple papers in hand. Oh boy, this is gonna be a long ride.
The first destination was a real nice church just a few miles away from our house. We walked in and there was stained glass windows and a cross right over the stage. Seeing the wonder in Ashley's eyes as she examined the room, made me smile. She was like a little kid in a candy store, thinking of ideas for our wedding.
We went to four other churches none comparing to the first one. The last stop was not a church, a more unique way to get married. This stop was all me, Ashley wouldn't know where we were going until she saw the sign right in front of the parking lot that said Texoma lake.
Ashley's pov
Soda and I had looked at many beautiful churches but none compared to the first one, right now Soda is taking me to a surprise destination for our wedding. The road looked kinda familiar so maybe I've been to this church before. It all came back to me when I saw the sign Texoma lake, we're we had our date on the night he proposed to me. The church is really pretty but Texoma lake is perfect, that was the best night of my life and why not have a wedding, the best day of your life at your favorite place together. I smiled at Soda and his eyes sparkled, we go out of the car and walked to the lake hand in hand at the same place we were a few days ago just dating and now engaged to be married. I didn't even have to think about it getting married at the lake was perfect. It was going to be the venue for our wedding.
We drove back to the Curtis house laughing about old memories at lake Texoma, it was all perfect life was going really good, amazing actually. Everything was just the way it should be no problems to face just wedding planning and the love between me and Soda. I thought nothing could break us, nothing could change our perfect world. Until we walked into the Curtis house and I heard my worst nightmare, the only thing that keeps me up at night wracked with fear come out of Darry's mouth and stab my heart twisting the knife as he continued on.
