Chapter 8 - The Good Witch of the East

Helloooo!! This might be the first chapter I have ever posted within the same time range of the last (yayyyy!!!)

Im sorry!! This chapter kinda a filler and kinda short but the next is super duper long and it moves the plot along!!!

Lucy's Pov

"Ferler er errow rick rode"
"What?" a muffled voice called out. I spun around trying to find where the voice had come from, and not seeing anyone near by, I continued walking . Then I heard a light bell, kind of a sparkly noise, I look up only to find a gigantic pink, translucent, bubble gently floating towards the ground. When it hit, it dissolved (as bubbles do) and a little girl about the age of 12 inside!!

"Hello Lucy" she- wait a frickty frackin momento, How does she know my name? HOW DOES EVERYONE SEEM TO KNOW MY NAME??? What the hecktiy hacking heck? What is with this place? What is this place anyways? Are they all stalkers or something? OMG WHAT IF THE ARE ALL STALKERS???? That would be super duper creppy...OMG WAIT WHAT IF-

"Um Lucy?" My thoughts or should I say mini freakout session was interrupted by the little girl, who, may I add, CAME OUT OF A FLIPPERING BUBBLE!!!!!

"Uh... yeas?" the girl sighed a breath of relief and breathed in to say something else too but I CUT HER OFF THIS TIME, THAT'S WHAT YOU GET LITTLE GIRL HAHAHAHA. "And who might you be?"

"Oh! I-I'm-I'm... uhh... um" She seemed to have forgotten her own name... ummm what the heck? That's when I heard soft whispers of another voice. "ndy, the ickted... of the...." Frankly my hearing isn't as sharp as some people (LIKE SEBBYYYYY) so I didn't hear much. (I DID HEAR SOME THOUGH!!!!!)

"Oh! I am the hood- I mean the good witch of the west- WAIT no I mean East!" The girl stuttered through. My face showed exactly what I was thinking, it was the are-you-okay face, not the concerned one you give people when they fall, but the do-you-need-me-to-take-you-to-a-mental-facility-I-really-don't-want-to-but-I-will-please-say-no face. And in reply she gave a small, very timid, nervous, giggle. I shook my head

"What was that voice before?"

"Which voice? What are you talking about?" Then the girl gave off a very fake and very awkward laugh that did not help her hide the fact that she was lying. I think, I hope, I'm not just going crazy...

"The one from, like, two seconds ago. The one that queued you when you forgot your name." I could be a lawer, yeah... wait LUCY FoCUsSSs

"What are-" then a sigh came from the girls direction, while she was talking, that also cut her off.

"Hello, I am Carla and this" A white cat appeared from behind the girl and sighed again before continuing "is Wendy" Then the cat began a whole speech on what Wendy did wrong.

"Umm... Hey? I'm still here." The duo turned their attention back to me "Why were you, Carla, acting so secretive, and why was Wendy pretending like you weren't here?"

"Nevermind that" Carla replied and waved her hand as if to brush the question away. "Lucy right?" This again?

"Yeah, thats me. Why do you ask?" I said as calmly as I could without going off on another tangent.

"Oh good!" Wendy exclaimed, taking over the conversation "I am the Good Witch of the East" Yes, I already knew that "I sensed distress so I came! How may I assist you in your endeavors?" I paused, shocked from the formality and confidence presented in her voice.

"Well, I do want to find Natsu again, but I also want to go back home" I blush a tad. Why am I thinking of Natsu? I just met him! It's not like I could be in... No I won't say I'm in....

"Follow the Yellow Brick Road and at the end you will find emerald city and the wizard will grant your wish!" and with that Wendy and Carla disappeared into a bubble (WHICH CAME OUT OF NOWHERE!!!) and drifted off into the sunset. Okay then...

I walked forward, following the yellow brick road to meet the wizard, like Wendy told me to do. Only to find myself thinking about Natsu again. I don't know why why or how, but he popped into my brain. I wonder if Natsu is waiting at the end of the yellow brick road for me... Yeah no that's stupid. I mentally slapped myself.

After a while I noticed that not far ahead of me the yellow brick road ended and turned into a dirt path, which has a corn-stalk walled in pathway. Curiosity got the better of me and I walked forward.
