Chapter 10 - A Lion

Hello hello hello!! After a little less then a month I update, I apologize to any readers left. I suck, I know, I'm sorry. Whatever :P

If you have stuck with me this far I commend you and thank you I love you guys! This is your shout out like thing I guess (?)

Any-who, I also apologize in advance for the very very poor, awful display of Gajeel in the entire fan-fiction-esk type of who knows what. I SWEAR IT WILL GET BETTER PLZ JUST HOLD OUT A LITTLE LONGER!!! I HAVE PLANS!! *taps fingers together manically* Also if you gonna go and be a hater and hate on my story-telling just... *tries to trash talk* nobody needs you, rude. *puts hand in face*

Oh by the way in case you may have forgotten anything written in italics is what the character in with the POV takes place ins head(?) <-- I'll find a better way to phrase that

NOW ON WITH THE STORY!!

Lucy's POV

Finally, we got walking again. After a short while, the clear path entered a heavily wooded forest, and as we walked, the path got darker and darker. Eventually we came upon a grove of apple trees.

And of course, Droy wanted some.

When Droy took a break of fried chicken to get the apple, once he'd plucked the apple from the tree branch, two eyes from the middle of the tree's body shot open, making Levy, Jet and myself jump back in shock and fear. Droy, was surprisingly not affected. Seriously, I think something might be very wrong with him...

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" the tree yelled. Okay, I'm done, see yah... HOW THE HECK CAN A TREE TALK??? WHAT THE?? I CAN'T EVEN?? HOW DOES ONE EVEN? BYEEEEEE

"I'm really sorry mister tree we didn't mean to hurt or offended you my friend here was just hungry we did know we would be doing anyone any harm I'm really really sorry we promise not to bother you anymore I swear it was an accident and won't happen again I'm really really reallllly sorry we will just be going now" Levy rambled in a little mouse voice, it was so cute!!

"YOU THINK THAT IT'S OKAY TO JUST TAKE ONE OF MY APPLES?! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF SOMEONE JUST TOOK ONE OF YOUR FINGERS?! NOT VERY MUCH NOW WOULD YOU?! SO DON'T TAKE MY APPLES!! YOU GOT THAT?" After hearing all that noise the other trees opened their eyes and the whole grove became a nightmare; every time we walked passed another tree they would either glare, taunt, or silently judge us. Once we finally got through the apple trees, both Levy and I sighed. All of a sudden I heard a loud roar. Many more came and the noise faded to the background. The noise was scaring many small animals and so Levy and I agreed to check it out.

After a short while of looking we came upon a lion resembling being with dark hair and metal piercings all over (A/N if you don't know who this is yet get out, don't actually, come back i'm sorrrrrryyyyy) Levy who was sincerely concerned for the well being if the talking animals running in the opposite direction, (as mentioned before) strode up to him and put her hands on her hips. Honestly this surprised me I didn't think Levy had it in her to be this confident.

"Excuse me mister" the guy stopped roaring and turned his attention to her as a blush crept onto his cheeks "I'm not sure if you noticed but all of your obnoxious roaring is scaring all the smaller animals and it's honestly quite rude, even if you are the 'kind of the jungle'" she put two fingers on either side of her face to make air quotation marks emphasizing her sarcasm "you should not use your annoying roar to scare others" she stepped closer to his face and grabbed his shirt "and if you don't stop I'll be forced to make you" the lion gulped and his whole face was red.

"I'm really sorry m-miss but I-I I got this t-thorn s-stuck in-in my hand while o-on my way t-to the emerald city, and um well it r-really hurt and nobody would help m-me and um yeah" he stuttered. Now it was levy's turn to turn pink

"I had no idea here let me help you" she put out her hand and the lion, with a confused face, placed his in hers gingerly. She used her solid script magic to make a pair of tweezers, pulled out the thorn then created a bandaid to place on top.

"I'm sorry I really had no idea" Levy apologized again.

"It's okay, i'm all better now it's fine please don't worry" the lion replied

"I'm Levy, and me and my friends" she gestured towards Jet, Droy, and me "are heading towards the emerald city ourselves to ask the wizard for our wishes" she paused and glanced at me as if asking for reassurance. I gave a small nod in reply, she smiled and continued "and by any chance would you maybe like join us?"

"Mmhm, uh I mean yeah, yes!" He paused "oh and I'm Gajeel" Levy smiled at the sound of his name. I'm could be wrong but this just might be the beginnings of love we are witnessing folks! Maybe... *laugh*

"And I'm Lucy, and this is Jet and Droy" I chime in as if to make them aware we are here too.

With that we were back on the trail to see the wizard...

*cue musical number/ mini time skip of Gajeel singing (?) about the journey*
