Chapter 15 - Second Try's a Charm pt.2

Incase you haven't realized it yet, most of the time, the pictures at the top have almost nothing to do with the chapter... i just think that they are cute and want to share my NaLu fangirl heart photos with all of y'all >_<

Lucy's POV
Eventually Gajeel and Levy came down the long hallway dressed, and chatting. Seeing Lucy, Jet, and Droy they stopped talking and Levy looked at the ground while Gajeel shrugged.

"What took you guys so long" I asked, seriously I know the some people aren't morning people but 48 minutes? That seems a bit extensive... anywho

"Nevermind" I continued, they weren't going to answer anyways "do you guys remember why we are here?" Everyone shook their head "we were here to meet the wizard" I explained emphasizing the word where, everyone gave a oohh yeah face, I rolled my eyes "Do you guys remember the flower patch we fell asleep in the other day? Well I think that they use something similar here to keep us from meeting the wizard. 'm not sure why but don't eat the food, that's what caused us to fall asleep last time...I think" The last two words I mumbled but everyone seemed to agree to I didn't think much of it.

A few minutes later the woman who was in my room this morning approached us, as she got closer our conversation sised. With a huge smile and seemingly excited she asked us, "Are you ready for breakfast? We have a delicious spread of -"

"First, we would like to meet the wizard" I cut her off and it surprised me how forceful the words were. I didn't mean to be rude but I knew if she started listing foods there was no way I'd be able to resist. The woman was also seemed to be shocked by my tone and her smile faded a bit, she continued "are you sure we..." I gave her a look and judging by her change in excitement which mellowed into nervousness, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that she got the message. "yeah sure... uh..." she looked around and seeing no one else she turned back to us, "I'm sorry but could you please excuse me for a moment?" we all noded. Briskly she walked over to a nearby phone that I hadn't noticed before.

I wasn't eavesdropping, I was collecting information... but I really only heard bit of the conversation because of where I was standing. a couple of yes's and a few no's but then, "yes they realized it" is what she whispered into the phone. She immediately whipped her head around to see if someone, aka me, was watching her, as soon as I realized it, I pretended to be assessing the painting behind her. She then, staring right at me, hung up the phone and walked back over to us.

"Alright we can go up" she announced but in a bit of a nervous grumpy voice.
"Up?" Jet asked
"Yes up, please follow me" She replied and continued to lead us down a series of corridors and hallways until we came to a set of double doors. They weren't all that grand, but I think double doors are pretty fancy nonetheless. She paused for a second and gave Droy just enough time to begin to ask
"Are we almost-" the doors opened and inside was a humongous spiral staircase. Not huge, like wide, but huge like grandous and very, very, very tall. It seemed to go on for at least 3-4 stories.

"not quite" the woman said, staring straight at droy she continued "You don't have to meet the wizard, we could always go back and you could have a nice relaxing day at the spa!" The whole group looked at me

"I'm sorry, but we would really like to meet the wizard, thank you" I began to walk up the stairs, slowly Levy, Gajeel, Jet and Droy followed.
