The next couple days went by pretty slow. James came over every day to help me unpack for about an hour and then we'd just hang. My sister would CONSTANTLY flirt with him. It was kinda awkward. At least for me.
It was Saturday. The day where I finally only had one box left to unpack and my relaxing day. Last one until school starts on Monday. Great, I'm gonna be the new girl. That should be interesting. It was just 9 o'clock in the morning and I knew there was no way I'm going back to sleep with the sun shining in from my window. Maybe if I could actually find my curtains, this wouldn't be happening. Just saying. I quickly got up and got in the shower. I washed up real quick and hurried to get out. I put on my rainbow, zebra stripped pants... (don't judge) and my pink, "Ain't nobody got time for that" shirt. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and started unpacking my things. Luckily, it was mostly, movies, books, and some more random junk.
It took about an hour to finish unpacking and I got to say I was pretty relieved when I finally finished. I plopped down on my bed and reached for my phone. I had a just a few text messages. They were mainly from Jacob and James. I opened James up first.
From: Jamessss
Hey! Hope you're awake. Figured we can just hang out today after all the unpacking this week. Hmu when you get this.
I texted him back telling him that it sounded good and to come over in ten. I then checked my messages from Jacob. I was still pretty mad at him about the whole "drunk" incident a few days ago, we haven't really talked to much.
From: Jacob <3

I hated how he couldn't spell or at least never tried to spell out the words, but hey! Beggars can't be choosers.
To: Jacob <3
Jake, it's fine. Just try not to do it again. I love you too. :)
Soon after I heard a knock at the door. I headed down the stairs and ran to the door. My very tall friend stood in front of me. Bet you can't guess who I'm talking about. Yep. James.
"Hey.", he said with a smile. "I grabbed some breakfast before I came. Wanna eat?"
"Oh my gosh. I love you.", I said back, pulling him inside the house. The breakfast smelt amazing. He had got us both "EggMcMuffins" from McDonald's. I didn't realize how hungry I was until he brought me food. He sat there and laughed at me the entire time.
"Hungry much?"
"Watch it. I've haven't eaten since lunch yesterday!", I said while playfully pushing him.
"Maybe you should've ate then.", he said showing his dimples. I glared back at him as he got up. I had just finished my food when he lifted up up out of my chair and put me over his shoulder, and ran with me outside. I kept yelling at him to put me down, but he never did. Of course. He finally set me down on the swing set that we used to play on while we were little. It was in the middle of both of our houses because both our parents pitched in to get it. I was sitting on my little yellow swing looking into the sky.
"You know, I really missed it here. I never realized until I got back though."
"Yeah, I know. That country air really grows on ya."
"Yeah, it does", I said while laughing.
"Or maybe it's just being with the right person.", he said smirking at me and taking a seat on the blue swing sitting next to me.
"You're so full of yourself.", I said laughing.
"What are you talking abo--", he was cut off by no other person then my little sister. Great. "Come on!", he practically yelled. He grabbed my hand, dragging me off my swing and over to his house. We ran into the door and shut it as fast as we could. I busted out laughing. "Why are you laughing?", he asked with a chuckle.
"It seems like every time we hang out, we end up dragging each other around!", I said gasping for breaths, but finally calming down.
"Well, I'm sorry. I'd much rather not be flirted with by your sister today.", he said as we both let out of last laughs. We both sighed and looked down at our hands. They were intertwined and we hadn't even noticed. We both looked up at each other as he started to lean in. He got so close to where I could feel his breath on my lips. He leant in a little closer and...
"JAMES! I know you're in there!", my sister said. Gosh, she was such a stalker.
"Get down.", James said to me, pulling away. I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. But why? I couldn't kiss him. It be weird. Wouldn't it? Maybe it was because I've never had my first kiss. Yes, I know. I've been dating a guy for who knows how long now and he still hasn't kissed me. Either way, James has a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend. It couldn't of happened. It was just a one time, in the moment thing. I thought this all to myself while we crawled upstairs to his room. "Wanna watch a movie?"
"Yeah, that sounds good.", I said while plopping down on his bed. "You pick the movie though". He groaned as I said that.
"Fine. I guess I will. But that means we're watching Despicable Me.", he said as I laughed and nodded. He sat down next to me as the movie began.
The movie was half way over when I got a text message from someone. I took my phone out of my pocket of my pajamas, and check who it was from. It was from Rebecca, my best friend from California. It was a picture message. I quickly hit download curiously. When it finally downloaded my mouth dropped open...
