My Revenge (Danny Phantom Fanfic)

Chapter 10: Danny's POV

"Where'd she go?" Sam hurries after me, and grasps onto my shoulder. "Danny, stop."

I halt in my tracks to stare at the goth, and look straight into the lavender depths of her eyes, "We just met Elizabeth Showenhower."

"I get that, but we need to meet so that we can all talk about it."

I heft an ecto-gun from the weapons wall in our basement, then place it on the table next to me. "I don't know what to think."

"Danny, we need to talk," Dani's voice sounds from the side of me. I see my cousin floating in her ghost form near the wall. "Come on, put down the weapons for now. Please."

"So it was Lizzie all along," Youngblood says, as we gather in my bedroom. His green eyes lift to mine, "How are you're parents not barging in and asking what all the noise was about?"

"My sister is keeping them distracted, she got them to get out of the house to help the citizens," I tell him. 

"I knew something was off about Lizzie," Sam says, "So she disguised herself as a halfa to spy on us?"

"Seems like it," Tucker nods his head, "She could've easily wiped us out but I guess she wanted to find out more about you before she--you know--killed you."

I shrug, "Probably true." I begin pacing around the room, "I think she wants the Fenton Ghost Catcher."

"Why?" Dani asks, crossing her legs as she floats in the air.

Sam snaps her fingers, "She wants to split herself into her ghost and human self. With just her ghost half, she'd be pretty much unstoppable."

"If she's powerful now--" Youngblood trails off.

"She'd be even more powerful as a full ghost," Dani finishes. 

"What's weird is that Lizzie's two selves are way different from mine," I tell them, but I get confused looks.

"What?" Sam looks at me confused. "Of course they're different."

I shake my head, "Yeah there's the whole 'I'm a guy and she's a girl' thing but there's something else."

Everyone gives me expectant looks, and I sigh.

"My two personalities are connected but Lizzie's--"

"What's wrong with Lizzie's?" Dani interrupts me.

Youngblood snorts, "What isn't wrong with hers?"

"It's like hers are at war," I explain to them. "From what we know, Lizzie's been wanting revenge since the day her mom died. She spends her entire life preparing to kill me. It looks like her human side doesn't want to go through with it anymore. The reason for that--I honestly don't know."

"Well first things first," Youngblood announces confidently, causing all heads to turn towards him, "We need to protect that Fenton thingy. Dani?"

"On it," the girl halfa becomes intangible and disappears through the floor. She returns with the Fenton Ghost Catcher in hand. 

Youngblood looks towards me, "She'll come back for that, so we'll have to keep it protected. Next, we need to figure out the new things we just learned about Lizzie or Elizabeth or whoever she is."

I nod towards him, "Okay, so we know that Elizabeth Showenhower is actually Lizzie Sherman. She needs those three sources, one was Dan and next is probably me. We don't know what the third source is just yet."

"She talks to herself a lot, I'm guessing it's because she's split into her two selves," Dani includes.

"We've seen her control those cards, and she uses that hat sometimes. But it's mostly those cards that she has--oh right, and to create those fire balls," Youngblood adds, floating himself next to Dani who smiles at the closeness. A simple glare at the boy ghost causes him to give himself a little space between himself and my cousin.
