Tara

I opened my eyes and yawned. That was a such a good sleep. I smiled and looked over at my clock. Big red letters read that it was ten forty three and I jumped out of bed. Shit, shit, shit I thought to myself. I pulled a brush through my hair and jumped into a pair of jeans. Throwing on somedeodorant I pulled on the tank top I wore yesterday and laughed as I noticed they were the same jeans to. Oh well only Blaze say me in them since I didn't go to school like that so it wasn't a big deal. I looked okay and even though I knew Angela would have some slutty outfit on that would top mine today I was late and didn't really care at the moment.

I put some makeup on, leaving it light and simple then grabbed my jacket and keys. Running into the kicthen while putting my feet into my flats I grabbed and apple and my bag and quickly looked down at a note reading my mom had to go to work early. I dismissed it, realized when I woke up she must have left for work or she would have woken me up. I raced outside and jumped into my car, shoving my bag into the passenger seat and the apple in my mouth before I raced down the road.

I probably was breaking a couple speed limits but I was really late for school. Usually I don't give a shit but like right now I didn't want to miss for some reason. I'm surprised the school didn't call my mom and say I was skipping but she would have called me if they did. I took a bite from my apple and drove like a maniac. Pulling into the parking lot and screeching to a stop I grabbed my stuff and jumped out.

I really need to be better at this whole waking up thing. I ran to the office and asked the plump lady behind the reception desk for a late slip before jogging to my class. I ran into it and recived a glare from the teacher before I sat down in my seat beside Matthew. He seemed to shift his seat a little away from me and I gave him a puzzled look. "Whats wrong," I whispered, not wanting to get both of us in trouble. "Nothing," he answered but it was a terrible lie.

"Matthew," I let his name draw out from my mouth and I looked at him. He didn't look at me but I saw the pain clearly in his eyes, "I said nothing." I sighed, realizing I wasn't going to be getting anywhere and looked at Ashton. He shrugged and looked helpless, maybe I will try later. I looked over at him and he was looking at his paper, eyes carefully trained on what he was writing. He looked almost like he saw me cheating on him, and I have seen those looks, but I never did. I sighed and started writing down the notes on the board.

The class passed by painfully slow but after it was lunch, thank god, and I didn't have to sit there anymore. I couldn't handle Matthew so sad beside me and not being able to do anything about it. After class he walked out right away and I pulled the group together, all of them looking at his retreating back before their eyes fixed on me. "Okay what the fuck happened to him," I demanded, hip out and my hand rested on it. They all didn't know what happened and I knew that they weren'tlying. I shook my head and walked out the door trying to find him.

That's when I spotted him with Angela. She had her arm around his back and her eyes roamed over every spot on his body. She was saying something to him but I couldn't make it out, probably feeding him more lies. Maybe that's what happened, he was believing her stupid lies. "Angela mind if I talk to him," I said, looking at her, "alone." She look a moment to move but then took her arm off from his back and walked away, eyeing me. I looked at him and he couldn't even look at me, "she is lying." He looked at me after I said that and ice fell over his eyes, hiding the pain I saw there amoment ago. "I might have believed that once upon a time but now I have saw it with my eye I know you are the liar here," he said, voice full of ice.

I stood, shocked, "what do you mean saw with your own eyes." A mad glint crossed his eyes, "you and that Blaze outside of your house." Realizing hit me and I laughed, making him look at me with pain, hatred, and betrayal. "Its not what you think at all," I said truthfully. He looked like he didn'tbelieve me, "looks to me he was taking you on a date." "I never when on a date with Blaze Matthews, he was taking me to poker to see an old friend," I scoffed. Matthew rolled his eyes, "Ididn't know who you are trying to fool but you played me once but never again." Then he turned around and walked away, leaving me standing there dumbfounded.
