I heard a scream and looked up, searching around for the source. I didn't find anyone but then thought about it and realized it came from outside the class. I was about jump up out of my desk but what's the point? I mean it's probably nothing. I don't live on the bad part of town anymore, someone must a scared a girl as a joke or something. Yet then it came again, a terror filled scream for help. That was all I needed. As the teacher was telling us to calm down as she sorted it out I jumped out of my desk. I reached into my open pencil case and grabbed my scissors. Then I sprinted across the room and out the door, slamming it behind me. Call me stupid but I recognized the scream, I'm pretty sure it's Angela.

Now sure I don't like the bitch but she doesn't need to be killed and since I have a gut feeling it's cause of me I felt compelled to help her. I raced down the hall in time to see the door closing and three teachers looking shocked. I looked at what they were looking at and saw a older man laying in a puddle of blood. His neck was cut and I could see he was clearly dead. I didn't know the teacher but I could bet u anything he hasn't done anything bad his whole life. I raced out the door but ran into Blaze, standing there debating on something.

When he saw me his eyes lit up and relief took the place of the torn look. "What happened," I said gruffly while looking around for Angela. That seemed to snap him out of it, "they look Angela, they thought it was you." I was shocked, "W-What do you mean they though she was me." Now I really fucked up, how could they think that bimbo was me. Blaze answered that question, "she was wearing a wig for drama and was fitting with Matthew." Somehow that still didn't completely compute, "so!" Blaze started to get mad, "they were looking for a brunette who is dating or in her case flirting with Matthew."

I leaned my head back and sighed. Poor Angela, this is all my fault. I mean I don't know why they are after me but I can take it, Angela can't. Blaze ran his hand through his hair and looked around, neither of us saw Angela or her kidnapper. "I'm gonna go talk to Matthew, you call up the boys and make them go to Marley's," I said before racing inside. I ran to the drama room not looking at any of the confused, panicked students. I flung open the drama door abs saw a beat up Matthew. Thank god they only beat him and didn't stab him like they did the teacher.

Matthew looked hurt, sad, bruised, and defeated. I can't believe I did this. "Matthew," I started and he looked up before dropping his gaze to the floor. "I'm sorry I didn't mean for this to happen," I tried again but he cut me off. "Why did you even come here," he asked softly. "What?" I replied shocked. "You broke my heart and now probably got my friend killed," he roared standing up. "I'm gonna get her back," I promised. He chuckled but it wasn't a happy chuckle, "they took her, what can you do different." I looked him up in disbelief, "I can fight."

He did another sad humorless chuckle, "I fought and I lost, besides they came for you so they must know what they are up against." I looked at him and realized they did beat him yet I knew I was better. "I can fight better then anyone I know and since they look Angela instead of me claims they slightly got what I do but don't know me at all," I said. "Your a chick, you can fight but there are two that I know of and they knew what they where doing," he mumbled. "Well they obviously didn't if they got the wrong girl from the wrong class and I've lived where they have and I have battled may people and I always win and now I will get Angela back," I snarled. "Even if you could beat the guy that took her, like I said there was another in their get away car, maybe more," Matthew claimed making me want to hit him. "I've got more people who can take care of themselves and might have leads on who is doing this," I replied.

"Well who is gonna help you, Blaze," Matthew sneered. "Yes, Blaze and my brother and old friend, people who are able to do shit about this," I growled. He stood there shocked and I snapped at him again, "now since I'm not going to get anymore help from you I'm gonna go get your friend back." I turned around but felt a hand on my shoulder, "wait." I turned and looked at Matthew, "what?" he took a deep breath, "I want to help." I laughed, "then give me everything you know about them, tell me what happened, and stay out my way." By now all the student were in the gym, someone went onto the intercom and told them awhile ago. I bet they were going to send them to their homeroom's soon so we would no longer be alone. I was right, I heard high heels of teachers and students clicking through the hallway. "Let's go to class and talk after," I said grabbing his arm. We walked down the hall and tried to avoid teachers that where walking through the hall. I saw Blaze and told Matthew I would meet him in class before walking away.

When I got to Blaze I snatched the phone out of his hand and went to his contacts. He wondered what I was doing, I could see it in his face, but he didn't argue. When I handed it back he realized what I was doing and nodded, tucking it in his pocket. "What did the guys say," I asked. "They will be at Marley's house and are waiting for you and details," he said. I nodded, "good, any problems getting ahold of them?" He shook his head, "I got Marley's number from Bry and Marley was already with Smithy and had Keller's number, he will call Keller and get Keller to call Taren." I smiled then thought of Blake, "You didn't mention Blake." He smiled sheepishly, "No one had his number, Marley asked if he should figure out how to get it but I said you would have it."

I pulled out my phone, "I do don't worry." Blaze looked at the door, "kay, ready to go?" I shrugged, "I'll get more info from Matthew, go to your class text me in twenty minutes." He nodded and I turned around walked towards my class. I saw Matthew sitting down besides the gang. I walked over and Ailyn walked over in tears. "Tara, your okay," she cried hugging me. I hugged her back, "I'm fine, I have to talk to Matthew." She ignored me, "it was awful, they were looking for you, you know." I nodded, "I know." She tried to hold back her sobs, "why, is it because what happened before?" I thought back to the night sfter the club and flinched, "I don't know but I'll find out." Ailyn finally let me go, "It was Angela they took." I nodded again, "I know but I'm gonna get her back." Ailyn looked at me weird, "how?" I sighed, "I don't know yet but I have to talk to Matthew." Matthew walked over and I walked to the back of the class with him following me.

"Tell me everything," I said as I sat down on a desk. "She was wearing a wig and we were partners. The teacher got a call and left the room, a couple minutes later a guy in a gun bursted in asking for you. He saw Angela hiding behind me and ran over and tried to grab her. I tried to stop him, believe me I tried, but he won. A lot of people left to room by now and the guy grabbed Angela, throwing her over his shoulder, and said he got her into a speaker thing. Then he ran out, I couldn't help her, I tried though. Now she's gone and I don't know where she is or if she is still alive." I nodded and gave him a fake smile, "I'll get her back." He took a shaky breath, "and what if she is dead." I sighed, "he wants something and won't kill her, we just have to hope he doesn't find out she's not me." Then my phone beeped, it was Blaze and he was at the front door. I told the guys I had to go and rushed out the door, not listening to my teacher's feeble attempts to stop me. I had business to do, a bitch to save.
