I checked the time on my phone before sighing and setting it back down.

11:57.

My birthday was in exactly three minutes, the bed next to me was empty, and I couldn't fall back asleep.

11:58.

I turned around and stared at my best friend's poster on the other wall. It had One Direction on it.

I couldn't help but trail my eyes to Louis. I mean, I should be doing that anyway. He is my boyfriend. He is quite attractive, especially in that picture. That's probably the most attractive picture of all five of them on the face of the earth.

11:59.

I decided to stand up and walk to the bathroom, maybe it would help the next minute go by faster.

Once I was done doing my business, I walked back to my bed and checked the time, just once more.

12:00.

I smiled happily to myself and walked into the kitchen, turning the light on on the way in.

"Surprise!" six people shouted from the kitchen. I screamed, but then embraced them all. I recognized two of them: Louis, and a man with brown curly hair that I had met before. I believe his name was Harry?

Everyone else's faces were extremely familiar. I just couldn't pinpoint where I knew them from.

"You guys! You scared me half to death!" I mumbled into the group hug. They all dispersed and lined up across from me. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion before presents magically appeared in all of their hands.

I excitedly opened all of them, each consisting of something incredible that I was overly grateful for.

All of a sudden, all of us were in a giant theater. It seemed like it was an arena, one that I knew I had seen before, but I couldn't be too sure.

I felt Louis grab my hand and gesture behind me.

"Lisa, there's someone who would like to wish you a happy birthday," he said gently, and I turned around.

Blonde hair. Red lips. Cat eye style eyeliner.

I saw her in a magazine a couple weeks ago, and I believe I heard her song on the radio.

"T-taylor Swift?!" I exclaimed, before running over and embracing her in a huge hug. I felt my eyes fill with happy tears, though I didn't know why.

"Happy birthday, Lisa! I'm so excited to get to spend the day with you!" Taylor said, but the moment didn't last long.

I blinked, and then suddenly we were back in the same apartment-type room as before. Except, it was only Louis, Taylor and I.

"Come on, Lisa. Your singing is wonderful, and I'm sure your songwriting is just as great," Louis said and I felt my cheeks heat up. I looked over to Taylor and she looked excited and hopeful.

"Okay," I said quietly and picked up my guitar. I sang a song I had written a couple years before and I closed my eyes throughout the entirety of it.

When I opened my eyes, the setting changed to a park.

The park Louis and I meet up at.

There was a blanket spread out that Louis and I were sitting at, and many breakfast foods all spread out among it. I opened my mouth as Louis popped a strawberry in it.
