I watched as she walked away, and as soon as she did, I jumped up and began dancing around.

Fate really is a funny thing, isn't it?

I spin myself around over and over again with a wide smile on my face. I stopped spinning, sighed, and fell on the ground, content. I spread my arms out and stared up at the clouds.

"Thank you," I whispered while closing my eyes.

Still wondering if that really just happened, I rolled onto my stomach and pushed myself off the ground. I happily began walking back up the small hill, pulling my hood over my head and placing my sunglasses on my face.

I quickly got in my car and, once again, thanked the heavens because I didn't get caught by paps. I looked through my window and saw Lisa walking towards someone. I recognized them instantly.

David.

I ignored the main instinct I had, which was jumping out of my car and punching him in the face, and instead started my car and drove back to my flat.

I was filled to the top with mixed emotions. I was overly joyful because Lisa had seen me and befriended me without realizing who I was, yet I also felt my blood boil at the actual sight of Lisa thinking she was in love with David.

It was disgusting.

I got out of my car and quickly walked up to the front door and unlocked it before walking in.

"Harry," I called loudly. As I awaited a response, I set my keys and phone down on the kitchen counter. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs until Harry was in front of me. He instantly recognized my differed expression and his turned to one of confusion.

"What's up with you?" he asked and I smiled.

"You'll never guess who I saw today," I said happily and at first he furrowed his eyebrows, but then he looked at me with disappointment in his features.

"Louis, I thought I told you not to go to her," Harry said quietly.

"No, you don't understand. She ran into me," I tried to explain, the smile failing to leave my face.

"What? Where were you?"

"I was at the park we used to go to all the time. I thought she had completely forgotten about that place, but I guess she didn't," I replied happily. Harry now had a smile forming on his face.

"Well, tell me what happened," he pressed and I nodded before telling him everything. His eyes widened every time I mentioned something important and his mouth was wide open once I was through.

"She really gave you her number? Mate, fate must be on your side in this situation," he said as his facial expression returned to normal.

"I know, I just can't wrap my head around the fact that that just happened," I said breathlessly.

The woman I love is finally finding her way back into my life.

I sighed as I waited, staring at my phone. It had been almost two days since I made my new friend, yet my phone never lit up with the notification of a text or call from him.

Of course, I wanted him to text me, but I also had my fears.

I didn't tell David about my new friend. He would totally go all ballistic on me and I would never be forgiven.

I never knew what his deal was, anyway. He has a phone. He has social media. He has all the things he tells me I shouldn't have. It's ridiculous and pointless.
