"Happy birthday, dear Louis. Happy birthday to you!" my band mates and three best friends sang around me. I smiled and blew out the candles, silently making a wish in my head beforehand.

You could probably guess what my wish was.

Liam stepped forward and took all the candles off before cutting each of us a piece.

I didn't want to make a big deal of my birthday this year. I didn't want my family to bother coming down the day before Christmas when there was already so much going on. I didn't want to go out. I just wanted to see Lisa one time today, and hang out at home with Harry, Liam and Niall the rest of the day.

Lisa and I spent time together at our park this morning. She gave me my birthday and Christmas presents, since she thought there wasn't any way way we could see each other tomorrow, which I agreed with. She got me a vinyl of an album by The Fray, which happens to be my favorite band, and a brand new football jersey for the Doncaster Rovers with the number 28 on the back. They were two things that I had really wanted, things that I told her about earlier in the year when we were dating, before the accident.

Somehow, out of all the things she could have remembered, that was what it was.

When I asked her how she knew exactly what to get me, she said she didn't know. She was just shopping for Christmas presents and decorations when suddenly those gifts came to her mind.

I couldn't wait until she remembered everything else, too.

Even through her protests, I gave her a Christmas present also. She didn't want any attention to be taken away from me on my big day, but I had a gift for her I hoped she would enjoy. She did, by the way, very much so.

I got her a necklace that had a small, circle pendant with a tree one one side, so represent our park and how it's where we "met" and where we spend most of our time together. On the back, I had L & L engraved. When she opened it and I explained this to her, she began tearing up and hugged me for the longest time. I felt more at home in that moment than I ever had before.

Now, the four of us were sat at mine and Harry's table eating an amazing chocolate cake that Lisa had actually made for us. It was something else she brought me earlier today.

"This is amazing," Niall moaned as he shoved another bite in his mouth.

"Well, thank Lisa," Harry said and looked back down at his piece. Niall and Liam both dropped their forks and looked at me.

"Thank Lisa?" Liam asked, his tone sounding extremely shocked.

"Oh, I guess I haven't told you two, yet. So, uh, we found Lisa," I said quietly and put another piece of cake in my mouth. It really did taste amazing.

"What? How? Is she okay?" Niall began spewing out questions left and right.

"Calm down, Niall. She's pretty much fine, but she can't remember anything that happened before these last few months. She didn't remember me, or Harry, or even her favorite Christmas movie. We ran into each other a while back completely by accident, and we've grown really close since then," I explained and Niall and Liam still had shocked expressions.

"Louis, you left something pretty big out of the story," Harry began, and when I gave him a confused look, he continued. "You forgot to mention that David has been lying to her and told her they're married and has been living with her since the accident."

"David? As in, ex-boyfriend, alcoholic, abusive David?" Liam asked.

"Yeah, that's the one. And he hasn't changed at all. I swear, the amount of times I've seen her with bruises or tear-stained cheeks because of that dick..." I trailed off but stopped to take a deep breath.
