I couldn't help the gigantic smile that came over my features when I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I had my hair and makeup done to perfection, thanks to Lou, the boys' stylist. I had the dress of my childhood fantasies on my body, and flowers in my hair. My best friends, Aryanna and Beth, and my now teenaged sister Macy, were all stood around the room in their beautiful, dusty rose-colored dresses and flowers in their perfectly done hair as well. The day I had been dreaming of since I was old enough to imagine was finally here, and I couldn't believe I was about to spend the rest of my life with the man I love more than anything.
My mom walked into the room, looking absolutely stunning as well. When she caught sight of me her eyes teared up and a huge smile made its way onto her face.
"I can't believe my baby is getting married," she whispered and gave me a big hug.
"Don't cry, mum. I don't want your makeup to run. Also, if you cry I'm guaranteed to as well," I said and wiped under her eyes.
"I can't blame her, I honestly can't believe you're already getting married, too," Macy said and grabbed my hand. "Especially to a world famous musician. I mean, could your life get any better?" She joked, and we all laughed. Macy squeezed my hand and walked over to sit down with my mom, slightly limping on the way.
Since the accident that my family was in a few years ago, Macy hasn't been able to walk without a slight limp. We are extremely blessed for her to even be able to walk as well as she can, the doctors were all positive she would never be able to walk again after how her body was affected. But there goes my strong baby sister, proving them wrong.
"Lee!" Zoe, my other little sister, who was now at five years old, ran in in her little white sundress, jumping up into my welcoming arms.
"How's my little flower girl?" I asked Zoe and she laughed.
"Wonderful! You look so pretty! Like a princess," she started before gasping. "My sister is a princess!"
"Yes, she is," my mom said and I smiled at her. I set Zoe down on the ground and my wedding planner, Carmen came into the room with a huge smile on her face, and then I felt the butterflies soar in my stomach as she said the next two words.
"It's time."
We all grabbed out bouquets and Zoe was given her basket filled with pink and yellow rose petals. The bouquets all consisted of white and pink roses, peonies, and little daisies. I tried to calm down the nerves I was feeling, not wanting to have any sort of anxiety today. I just wanted to be able to say "I'm Lisa Tomlinson and I married my best friend today!" without any complications.
"Alright, just go through the steps as we rehearsed yesterday and walk down the aisle with the groomsman you were paired with. The maid of honor will walk with the best man, and Lisa, your dad will walk you down the aisle after that," Carmen explained and we all nodded. I felt like I was on cloud nine, better than I had ever been in my entire life.
"Let's do this thing."
We all went through the steps as rehearsed, and all too soon it was time for my dad to take my arm and hand me off to Louis once we got down the aisle.
"Dad?" I said before we walked out where everyone was. He looked up at my with teary eyes. "I just wanted to tell you I love you," I finished.
