"I'm nervous. Why am I nervous? They're my best friends," I mumbled to myself as I paced back and forth.

Aryanna and Beth were coming over in a few minutes and I was so excited, but also so nervous, to see them again.

"Love, you're going to break through the floor if you keep pacing like that," Louis said, walking in from the kitchen with two mugs in his hands. He set one then down on the table and motioned for me to sit down next to him. I did, and took a sip of the amazing tea.

"Sorry, I'm just terrified," I said and closed my eyes.

"Why?" Louis asked and I looked in his eyes.

"Because, well, ugh. I don't know," I said and drank some more of the tea.

"Don't worry about anything. These are your best friends, they miss you as much as you miss them and they're over the moon to get to see you again," Louis assured and I smiled and pressed a short kiss to his lips.

"I love you," I said before there was a knock on the door.

"Oh my goodness, oh my goodness," I began saying on my way to the door. I opened it to find my two best friends in the entire world, Aryanna and Beth.

We all screamed and hugged each other for a while before I realized they probably wanted to come in.

"Please, come in. Make yourselves at home," I said and they both took off their jackets. I took the jackets from them and hung them up on the coat rack before motioning for them to sit on the couches. I sat in the love seat next to a couch, and Louis came over and sat next to me, his arm finding its way behind me on the seat.

"I can't believe we're here with you, again. We missed you so much, Lisa," Aryanna said and I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face, even if you paid me a million bucks to do so.

"I missed you guys, too. If I had remembered anything or had control over anything, I would have come to you guys as soon as possible," I explained. I felt Louis tense up a little beside me when I mentioned having no control, but when I placed my hand on his, he seemed to calm at my touch.

"We so would've come to see you, but I didn't know your address, and Aryanna was out of town until like a week ago," Beth explained and I widened my eyes, giving Aryanna a questioning look.

"Remember that interview I had that one day we met up at the cafe?" Aryanna asked and I nodded, recalling the day. That was the first day Louis contacted me after we broke up. I felt my smile falter a little, but then look over at him and my smile widened again.

"Well, I ended up getting the job. My boss, Claire, saw a lot of potential in me, and thought it would be good for me to get some hands-on experience. I lived in New York for five months and got really far with the company. I'm so happy with it," Aryanna said.

"Aryanna, that's amazing! I'm so happy for you. I can't believe I missed this," I said.

We carried on talking for a while, just catching up. It had been too long since we had a day like this. Louis ended up lying down in my bed so he could take a nap while us three continued talking. After a couple hours, I checked the time.

"Would you guys like to stay for dinner?" I asked, standing up.

"I think Niall and I are going out tonight, but we have to make a plan to do this again sometime," Beth said and I pouted a little.

"He's always welcome to come join us for dinner," I said, then turned to Aryanna. "So is Liam, and I could text Harry and ask him. We could have a little reunion dinner, unless you really have set plans."

"Actually, that would be really nice. We were probably just going to end up at the same pub we always go to. I'll go call him," Beth said with a laugh. She walked towards the window and pressed her phone up to her ear.

"Invite Liam!" I said to Aryanna and she turned a lovely shade of pink before pulling out her phone. I smiled and walked into my bedroom. I saw Louis curled up on my bed, sound asleep. I walked up and sat next to his sleeping figure. I placed my hand on his cheek and ran it down his neck, then down his arm until I was holding his hand. I ran my thumb back and forth on his knuckles. I saw his lips curl up a little.

"I thought that might wake you," I said quietly, before Louis' eyes opened. I lifted his hand up to my mouth and left a small kiss on it.

"We have a little plan for tonight," I said.

"Oh, okay. What is it?" Louis said, his voice sounding adorably raspy from him just waking up.

"Aryanna and Beth are inviting over Liam and Niall, and I was going to invite Harry. I was thinking I could make dinner for all of us, we could all have a little reunion. Sound good?" I asked Louis smiled and pulled me down so I was laying next to him. He pulled me to his chest and I wrapped my arms around his torso.

"Sounds great. You're pretty amazing," Louis said and I laughed.

"For making dinner?"

"For being so welcoming, so loving, especially after everything that's happened. We're all so lucky to have you back," Louis said and I looked up at him.

"I love you, Lou."

"I love you, too."

Eventually, I realized I should get up and text Harry, then get started on dinner. After some begging on Louis' end, I stood up anyway.

"Stay in bed a little longer. I know the last few days have been draining, so get some more rest," I told Louis. He smiled and began to close his eyes again.

I picked up his phone from the night stand and composed a text to Harry.

hey, this is Lisa on Lou's phone. im making dinner tonight at my apartment, would you like to come join? it'll be us, ary, beth, liam, and niall

I pressed send and a response came like two seconds later.

Of course. I'll be there as soon as I can. H

I smiled to myself and placed Louis' phone back on the table before walking out to the main area. Aryanna and Beth were sitting on the couch talking, but stood up when they noticed me walk in.

"Okay, Harry's coming, and Louis is just resting for a little longer. Can Niall and Liam make it?" I asked. They both nodded with smiles.

"Perfect! I'll go get started on cooking."

"Oh my God, Lisa. This chicken is amazing," Niall moaned and I laughed.

"I'm glad you like it," I said. I took a sip of my water and smiled to myself.

My life was finally back together. The pieces that were all mixed up and missing were now perfectly in place.

I couldn't stop smiling all night. Louis' hand was on my knee, all my best friends were in the same room again, and I actually knew everything about myself.

I was finally me again, and I was absolutely ecstatic at the fact.
