Chapter 3
~~Kyle
I awoke laying beside an angel with scars. Deep red and purple lines covered her arm. She was still beautiful to me. I watched her body slowly rise and fall. Her bones popped out as if she never ate. I felt a gnawing feeling inside my chest as I realized how alike we are. It bothered me. Her eyes fluttered open.
"Kyle?" She asked half asleep
I wasn't sure what to say, I simply replied "yeah"
"Why am I in your room?" She turned towards me. I couldn't help but laugh at her remark. I noticed how her hair still looked perfect.
"Because you saved my life" my answer made her face flush.
"You mean-" she cut herself off as she remembered the events of the pervious night.
Tears began to streak her soft, pale cheeks.
I stroked her hair trying to comfort her, seeing her cry made me want to cry as well. But I knew I needed I be strong. Strong for her. I kissed her forehead gently, telling her wordlessly I was here for her, she just stared at me with wide eyes. I couldn't help but chuckle slightly.
"W-what time is it?" She asked,
I looked at the clock that was on my bedside table,
"Two-thirty"
"I've been sleeping that long?!" Her voice was panicked
I laughed, "two thirty in the morning"
She sighed. I wondered why, I decided not to ask.
She moved her head from beside me, to on my chest. I suddenly felt self-conscious. So much was racing through my mind, I couldn't process it all.
"Did you hear that?!" She asked frantically, sitting up.
"Hear what?" I was genuinely concerned and confused. I strained my ears. Then I heard it too. Loud thumping.
"What do you think it is...?" She asked staring at me.
"Oh shit..." My voice trailed off.
"What-" Alice began to ask, but was cut off by the door swinging open. In the doorway stood my father. His hair was a mess, his hazel eyes bloodshot. Stains covered his once white shirt. He was leaning on the sideboard. Obviously still drunk or badly hungover. He flashed Alice a sly smile.
"And who do we have here?" Rage built up inside me, I held her closer. My fathers face turned steel as he looked at me.
"Don't bother" he chuckled. "What's your name, sweet cheeks"
~~ Eddie ( Kyle's dad )
I awoke on the ground of my own kitchen. The lights were out.
'Damn,' I thought 'I really need to pay that bill'
I got up, stumbling. My legs seemed to be made out of rubber, flopping around, unable to hold my weight.
"Kyyyyle!" I screamed.
No response. Worthless kid, drove of Eliza, my beautiful wife. I gazed down. The broken glass that once held my family's happy smiled was illuminated by the moonlight. Her face looked so beautiful.
"Oh Eliza" I moaned, "how beautiful you were. How... Perfect"
Suddenly, I was filled with rage. Kyle drove her off. Kyle made me do it!! that bastard. He will pay. I decided.
I climbed the stairs to his room. Balling up my fists to pound his worthless ass. I kicked the door to prove my might. I stood in the doorway. Not caring what I looked like. My eyes bulged, I saw Kyle with a beautiful girl. She had red hair that looked like flames. Her face was pale. She was very attractive. They were sitting beside each other. Her eyes drooping from fatigue
