Prologue

Arthur stood at the edge of Nature clan looking into the distance. To the north. His own dragon, Purple Eyes had flown off with a human girl called Ephvangeline. Why the north? The one place he couldn't go. The one place he feared. The Light and Pink clan, the enemies of the purple and darkness clan. His dragon could be killed there. Then what would his father think? His mother would kill him. Or banish him.

He needed to get Purple Eyes. To make sure she was back under his control and his protection. She was a small dragon and there were big dragons out there that could hurt or even kill her in one movement. That Ephvangeline knew nothing about dragons. She didn't have the right to be riding one. Just some human from some boring country. Probably had never seen a dragon before Purple Eyes. She will never understand just how important Purple Eyes was to Arthur.

Arthur sensed someone standing behind him. He looked over at them. It was Pixie, she gave him a solemn look.

"Tia will catch her before the pink dragons get her don't worry."

"I'll be really angry if she doesn't. But Purple Eyes' safety is the most important. My mother will kill me if she comes back injured," he explained shivering at the thought of what his mother would do to him.

"Bone Tears is one of the fastest dragons in our clan," Pixie assured him after seeing his shiver.

He hoped that Bone Tears would kill Ephvangeline if she had the chance, so Purple Eyes would have to return to him

Meow Myths,

It's been a long time since I've wrote for this series but I am glad to get back into it. Also to make Purple Scales way better than Purple Eyes. The prologue is short because all my prologues are but I promise to make the chapters longer and much better.

So are you excited?

Ready for the next book in The Evil Colour?

Like the cover?

As always you can find me on Tumblr Werecatleopard (link on my profile) for more frequent updates.
