After biology class got finished, Preeti and I went inside. Preeti insisted me to sit in her place and she will sit in my place to protect me from his glares.
"No Preeti if I sit in your place now, then he thinks that am fearing for him and his threatens. I don't want him to feel like that," I said this a little louder so that Ashish hears and I'm correct, he heard and gave me a cold look, but I just smirked at him. Now, I got satisfied after seeing that scowl look on his face.
The rest of the day went normally. He didn't even spare a glimpse towards me, I wondered why in biology class, he kept glaring at me all the time, but after that class why didn't he even look this side, but am really satisfied and happy that everything is back to normal.
Next day, I got up and went to school. After the morning tuition got finished, we went to our classrooms. When I entered the classroom, I saw Ashish talking to Preeti seriously near our bench. For a second, I wondered why is he being so serious towards her now because they both are good friends. As soon as they both noticed me, Preeti gave me a smile and told him something to which he replied something, then gave me an angry look and went outside the classroom. And, with that angry look he gave me, I came to know that he still wants to take revenge towards me but what did I do? Oh gosh, when will I find an answer for this?
Till break Ashish was silent. But during break time when I, Preeti, Shruti, Bhanu, Diya and Shaina were eating sandwiches and Cham Cham sweet brought by Diya and Bhanu, all of a sudden Ashish came and pulled me away from my friends because of which the sandwich I was having fell down.
"I told you guys to stay away from her, didn't I?", he said looking at my friends. "Preeti what did I tell you yesterday and today morning?" he said looking at Preeti now.
"See, stay away from Preeti, Shruti and Bhanu. They are my friends. I don't want them to be involved in my revenge and get hurt. What a friend are you? You took Preeti outside along with you from the class and you call yourself a friend to them. You don't deserve their friendship," he bawled at me. I don't know why, but I felt guilty. What he said is true. Preeti wanted to help me, but because of me she stood outside. So, without saying anything I went away, pulling my hand away from his.
After the break, I went and sat in the last bench and asked a girl to sit in my place so that I can stay distant from Preeti. Even Ashish came and sat in last bench, which's beside ours and all the while he kept giving a victory smile. I just ignored him and everyone the entire day, though my friends continuously called me during classes, lunch time, breaks and tuition.
After tuition got finished, I quickly moved out of school so that my friends won't wait for me. As I was going alone on an empty road I got a feeling that someone was following me, so, I slowly turned around to see if anyone was there but I found no one. I again turned towards my direction and started walking, fearing a little. Soon, I got an idea, I bent down and took a fistful of sand from the side of the road into my hand so that, if anyone kidnaps me I can throw this sand in their eyes and run away. Finally, I reached home, threw the sand at the side of the road and went inside.
Then I described the entire sand story to my mom. She got tensed and also laughed aloud, pointing at my antics again and again, but felt proud of my thinking according to the situation. Then she said that she or my dad will come to pick me up from tomorrow onwards to which I agreed reluctantly.
Soon my dad came home and we had a good family time, then after that I retired to my room, studied for the half-yearly exams that are going to be held next week. After studying I brushed my teeth, prayed to god and went to bed. As soon as hitting the bed I fell asleep.
Next Day...
When I was having the breakfast my father joined me at the dining table drinking his morning coffee. But I ate quickly, drank milk and went to wash my hands. I went to my room, took my bag, came to the living room. After bidding bye to mom and dad, I stepped outside, but dad and mom stopped me and took me to the parking place of our house, there I saw a new bicycle. I got confused, surprised and looked at my dad and mom.
"Your mom told me about yesterday's incident. And she also said that you reluctantly agreed with her decision of anyone of us picking you up. So, I bought this bicycle. So that you can go and come faster," my dad said.
"But I never asked you a bicycle," I said.
"It's because you learnt how to ride it recently. Now get going, it's already late," my dad said.
"Thank you so much dad, thank you so much mom," I hugged dad and mom.
"Be careful while going," mom said, to which I said okay and started to my school.
When going to school, I saw Ashish at the end of our street. He gave a surprised look seeing me. 'Oh god, what does he want now? What is he doing here?' I thought. I ignored him and went past him.
Soon, he reached me on his bicycle. 'Oh no, god please send him away. I don't want a bad start in the morning itself,' I thought.
"No, he won't send me away because he sent me to take my revenge," he said smirking at me. 'Did I said that aloud', I thought.
"Yes, you did," he said.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"You are saying everything aloud," he said.
"Whatever!" I muttered, irritated. "What is the revenge that you want now? You already separated me from my friends. Now, what is that you want?"
"Am thinking about that," he said casually as if am his friend. "First tell me, why are you coming in bicycle? Is it because you have to go home alone as you don't have friends now or are you feared of last night?", he said smirking at me.
"Excuse me?" I asked, confused to which he just raised his eyebrows innocently shrugging his shoulders. "So you were the one who followed me last night, right?"
"Of course, it's me," he said, giving me a victory smile.
I so want to wipe off that smile from his face.
"Why did you do that?", I questioned gritting my teeth and tightening my grip around the handle.
"What do you think? Why will I do that? For vengeance obviously," he said casually. "There are two reasons why I followed you. One is I wanted to know your house for my future plans and the other is to frighten you on the way."
"See, I can't understand why are you taking this revenge on me. But mind you, If you involve my family in this stupid revenge act. I won't keep quiet," I warned him.
"Whatever!" he said with a confused look on his face and shrugged his shoulders. "By the way, that was really funny."
"What?", I asked.
"That, yesterday you got frightened and took sand in your hands and carried that till your house. That one," He said laughing slightly. I felt embarrassed, so I just gave him a glare, to which he laughed a little more.
We reached school and parked our bicycles in the parking area. There was no one in the parking area other than watchman. I saw my watch and found that the time was 7:45 am.
"Because of you, even I came late today.", he said coolly.
"I didn't ask you to take revenge on me or wait for me," I said, irritated. He didn't give a reply for that.
"Why are you talking to me coolly?" I asked suddenly. "Actually, you always talk to me rudely, angrily, right?"
"It's because my plan is going accordingly. So, why should I waste my energy shouting at you if my revenge is satisfying me. And, that annoying look is looking good on you if I talk like this," he said, to which I gave him a look.
I so want to kill him.
Then we both headed to the class where the tuition goes.
