It has been two days since Shruti has left after inviting all to her marriage. Naina woke up to the rainy morning. Though it was nearly 8 O' clock the room was still a little gloomy due to clouds and rain. The entire environment was so cool and calm except the sounds of falling raindrops.

"I don't want to go to the office," Naina murmured groggily getting up and sitting on the bed snuggling the cozy bed sheet closer to her.

Forgot about the client meeting? Her conscience reminded her.

Sighing, she pulled the bed sheet off of her and went towards the balcony feeling the cold floor under her feet. She moved the curtains of the balcony door away to witness the beautiful view of the rain. Engulfing herself and with clattering teeth, she stepped on the wet grass in the balcony and sulked. Then she went forward, allowing the rain to touch her skin and moved towards the railing to glance at the rainy street. Then she had a look at all the potted plants in the balcony moving around. Unknowingly she glanced ahead and saw that the balcony doors of Ashish's room were closed and covered with curtains from inside. She shook her head, seeing his room.

After some time she went inside and got ready for the office wearing a red color Salwar. She took her car keys along with her bag and went down to have a quick breakfast.

While sitting for breakfast she asked her mom, "Mom, where is dad and Reyan?"

"They left for the work early," Ankita replied. Then she had her breakfast along with Ankita.

She got into her car and tried to start it, but it didn't start. She tried for two more times, but it went in vain. She got down from the car and opened the bonnet only to know that everything is fine according to her knowledge. She tried to start again but no use.

She went towards the entrance of her house and shouted, "Mom, my car is not starting. I think it's due to the cold weather. I'll go to office by a cab. Bye."

"Do you want me to call Reyan and tell him to come and drop you?" her mom asked coming into her view.

"No need mom. It's getting late. I need to rush."

"Okay, at least take the umbrella. It's raining," Ankita said. "Wait, I'll bring."

"Mom, no need."

"Pinky!" Naina shouted, seeing pinky, one of the kids in the neighborhood going on the street wearing school uniform and with an umbrella above her. The rain was not heavy like when she got up, but a little mild. "Mom, I'll go along with her till I catch the cab. Now bye."

She rushed towards her and got under the umbrella exchanging morning greetings. Chattering they started walking together. At the end of the colony she noticed Manish's car under a tree and him near the car talking on the phone. The tree was huge and bushy that it wasn't raining heavily under it, but little slow drops. Thank god! He is here, she thought and ran towards the car quickly to escape from getting wet after bidding bye to pinky.
