"Misty...Misty..." a sing-song voice called to me in my dreams. It was strange being dragged from such a tranquil place by the voice of a single roommate. I exhaled heavily, unraveling myself from the tiny fur-ball I had become. Yawning I stretched myself out, claws unsheathed digging into the white duvet. "Um, hello? Is little Miss Kitty ready yet?"

"Sorry!" I said as I stood on two feet again. In front of me stood Charlotte and Faith smirking their usual smirk. "Where is everyone else?"

"Breakfast, where else dummy." Charlotte giggled, amused as I hurriedly stuffed my arms and legs into my clothes. At least no school uniform today. We stood there in silence as I made my bed in a hurry, all they did was stare making me more and more uncomfortable by the minute.

"Are we going to go?" I asked them as they blocked my way.

"You still haven't told us!" Charlotte shot as they eyed me closely.

"How it went when he found out who I was, no thanks to you?" I laughed painfully.

"Yes!!! How is your handsome prince, princess?" Faith joined in, teasing me.

"He's not my prince, don't call me princess, and it's none of your business." I tried my hardest to keep a straight face But instead I looked annoyed while concealing a storm of laughter.

"You've spoken to him haven't you!!!" They squealed and giggled like we were 5 years old again.

"Yes, I have. What does it matter? Teddy's a friend."

"Teddy? What is he? Your soft toy?" Charlotte giggled.

"Of course! She sleeps with him every night!" More laughter.

"Oh so that's where you were last night!" Charlotte gave me a teasing look.

"We're only joking you know." Faith told me.

"I know. Now, can we please get to breakfast, I'm starving." I shove then out of the dorm and to the dining hall as quickly as they would go.

The dining hall was a more relaxed place, as it usually was on weekends, fewer children were there because they tended to go out, eat in their rooms, sleep in or wake up extra early. Luckily for them, the Academy had the most relaxed meal times I'd ever known. The other girls were already huddled around the Vulpix table in one big noticeable clump.

"Good mornin' sweet 'eart!" Alice slunk an arm over my shoulders and pulled me up against her face.

"Good morning Alice." I groaned, too tired to sound cheery.

"Oh? Sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed!" she grinned, "Did you stay up talking to your man?"

"What?" I quickly realised what she meant and as I sat down next to her and Fern I asked, "they're already gossiping to you!?!?!"

"Yup!" she smiled as she picked up a cinnamon roll. "Hailey was kind enough to fill me in on the details." my head immediately turned to fire a laser glare at Hailey.

"Alice is one of us now, Misty. She gets in on the secret gossip." Hailey grinned and turned back to her conversation with Taylor and Faith.

"Soooooo?" Alice fixed her gaze on me forcing the words out of me.

"He's just a friend...I still really like Oliver but we haven't spoken in a while and I don't know why he's ignoring me..." I trailed off, I'd never really spoken about this, but now for some reason my throat was dry and my stomach churned making me feel as though I was going to throw up.
