Tired. So tired. What was wrong with me and sleeping. I yawned as I dragged myself out of my bed. It was so early and I hadn't slept, I was afraid that if I fell asleep I'd be late to breakfast or even class and that wouldn't end well. But it was a weekend so I wasn't entirely sure why I was so worried, maybe it was partly because I couldn't sleep. I stretched my arms out.

"Misty..." I heard a voice from the bed next to mine.

"You're up, Faith?"

"Ya. I'm an incredibly light sleeper and you make quiet a bit of noise," she sat up on her bed and wiped her eyes, "you can't sleep?"

"Nope." I smiled lightly and I couldn't hold back a loud yawn.

There was a sigh from the other side of the room, "Gosh. It's impossible to sleep in the same room as you Misty." Hailey's voice mumbled from the bed opposite mine.

"Sorry, Hailey," I whispered looking down at my bare feet.

"You know what. This is boring," Hailey got up a grumpy look across her face, "if I have to suffer so does everyone else," she grinned and before we could stop her she was shaking the other girls up.

"Hailey!" Faith almost screamed but she kept her voice down.

"Wake up sleepyheads!" Hailey shook Charlotte and we heard a tired moan.

"It's so early!" Charlotte snapped awake.

"All the better for you to get your make up done in time," Hailey chuckled and soon Poppy, Taylor, Lily and Fern were complaining as they yawned and sleepily rubbed their eyes.

"So, what are we going to do now?" Poppy asked with a very annoyed face.

"Umm..." I was very worried, I felt that they'd all rage at me any second.

"I had an idea!" Charlotte burst into excitement, "we should go find the dragons."

"What?!" Poppy was not pleased.

"Well, don't you want to know which of us is bound to them?"

"I thought you didn't like the idea?" Fern leaned against her hand sleepily.

"Of course I do! It's sounds fun!" Charlotte's energy was unbelievable, "so, what do you say?"

"No way!" Poppy complained.

"Why not?" Charlotte put on puppy dog eyes.

"Poppy's right, even if we decided to we don't know where the dragons are," Hailey backed Poppy.

"Come on! We can find out," Charlotte grinned.

"How exactly do you suppose you'll do that?" I had a very bad feeling rising in my stomach.

"You know..." Charlotte exchanged looks with Faith and for some reason Faith began to grin as well.

"It sounds like a lot of mischief," Faith turned to Poppy, "it'll be fun, trust me."

We were heading down the dark hall our wands guiding the way with a small amount of light.

"This is against the rules!" Poppy came along because she didn't want to be left alone in our room, but she said it was because she didn't want us to mess up really badly.

"This is scary," Lily's voice sounded nervous as we edged slowly down the hall.

"It's alright." Faith turned to us, "but couldn't you lead the way Misty?"

"Yeah, you look really creepy like that," Hailey was talking about my eyes most likely, I'd never seen them for myself but apparently they became cat eyes when it was dark. Anyway, I'd only taken my wand out to help the others see, although I could see perfectly fine and everyone knew that.
