I woke up with the light shining through the window on my eyes.  I went to the window and looked out, there on the sidewalk walking towards the Macfee’s house were my parents, I quickly dressed into my favourite t-shirt which was light blue and had a purple rime, I put on my brown trousers and my cardigan from Poppy’s mother and rushed downstairs with my trunk.  I knocked on Catlin’s door and left before she could open it.  Quickly rushing past Mrs and Mr Macfee’s room just in case they were still a sleep and then opening the front door to greet my parents.

“Hi mum, hi dad!”  I rushed up to them.

“Hello Misty.” My dad said hugging me.  He wore a brown coat with a fake fur rime he also wore grey trousers.   My mum was wearing a brown top and a red jacket, with her beautiful jeans.  I walked with them to the Macfees house and as we arrived, I ran up to ring the doorbell.  We waited for some time behind the door, probably because they were changing.  Soon afterwards they came and opened the door.  There stood Mr Macfee dressed in a brown cheeked shirt and a red tie he wore his white trousers and looked very grumpy.  With him stood Harriet and Caitlin, Harriet was in her night gown and her brown hair was messed up, but next to her Caitlin was smiling all though I could tell she was upset that I was leaving, she was dressed in her lovely light pink dress she had showed me before, and telling me it was her favourite.  Then Mrs Macfee arrived at the door wearing a black top and navy blue skirt as she sneered at me.

“Already here?  But it’s seven o’clock in the morning.” Mr Macfee groaned, he was obviously upset that he had to do breakfast this morning.

“Won’t you stay for breakfast?” Mrs Macfee told my parents obviously thinking the same as Mr Macfee.

“No no, wouldn’t want to bother you on a Sunday morning,” My dad told them politely.

“Thank you for having Misty for two months, it’s alright since we have food with us,” then I noticed my mom’s black bag that she was carrying.

“No problem it was a pleasure,” Mrs Macfee told them in a dull tone.

“Goodbye.” Caitlin called as we walked away.

“Bye!” I called back at her as we went.  I heard the door slam shut behind us and then I could hear a lot of argument about who would do breakfast and why no one had stopped me before I had left.  I was laughing in my mind at them but I knew that I would miss Caitlin always.  None of us spoke and we got into the car which had been parked outside our house.  I got into the shiny black Bentley, as my parents put my trunk in the back.  We all sat in the car and my dad drove us away.

“How was your time at the Macfees, darling?” My mum asked.

“Well, not as good as you would expect, but I better not talk about that.  I want to know why you were away for so long?”  I told them avoiding the Macfees subject.

“Okay, we better tell you, it was because we received a message from the Ministry telling us there were important details to discuss on your home and care and that we had to leave at once.” My dad paused. “When we arrived at the Ministry they told us that we were to stay at the Leaking Shack, so we booked in for two weeks as we had been told we would stay there for that long.  The Ministry has been telling us that we must resume our jobs and you must go and stay in Cinder Village with the Ministry watching over you.  We argued with them to try and get them to change their minds but it was impossible, so we had to sign a bunch of security papers and others, which took us two months to do.” My dad finished as I saw a tear come down his cheek.

I was shocked that I had to leave the parents I had known the most, and I conclude the reason was what the voice had said to me last year when I was protecting the Gemstones of Truth, that I was the ‘princess’, I didn’t believe him but since the Ministry knew of this incident they probably thought the same. We drove straight into a dead end but from experience I was not afraid and we soon made it through the wall.  We rode down alleys and streets, zigzagging past shops.  We soon came to the small exit from the village which was a road going through the middle of a field of buttercups, there were several giant trees in the field and I watched the scenery as we drove further away from Cinder Village.  The ride was fifty minutes long so I took Ivy out of her cage and cuddled her, I thought about transforming but my parents didn’t know I could transform yet and I was too frightened to tell them especially because I didn’t want the Ministry to know.  So I played with Ivy for the whole journey.  We soon came to a town with lots of red brick houses lined up by the road, there was an entrance gate which opened automatically and there was a sign post which said ‘Rose Town’, there defiantly was a lot of roses.  We drove slowly down through the town until we came to house number 57.  We got out and I ran to ring the doorbell only holding Ivy and her cage.  The door opened moments later, at the door was a rosy checked woman.  Her hair was curly and dark, only up to her ear.  She wore red rimmed glasses and her brown eyes gleamed welcomingly.  Her fuchsia red flowery dress moved gently in the cold wind.  My parents came up behind me carrying my trunk.
