Four:
My eyes shot open at the yelling of my alarm in my ear. I reached over and punched the snooze button before pushing the damn thing under my bed. This is overrated. Why can't I just sleep all day?
I closed my eyes and almost fell back asleep when I realized that if I did I would miss the bus. Groaning and yawning at the same time, I slowly got out of my bed and popped my fingers.
"I seriously need to get my own car," I muttered while I pulled on a pair of black skinny jeans and a random shirt. I pulled on some socks and my shoes and walked into the bathroom to finish getting ready.
I grabbed my book bag off the floor and unhooked my phone from its charger then left for the kitchen. I ate a banana while watching Uncle Grandpa. I was surprised it was on this early. I checked the time and then got up, giving my dogs a treat and a kiss on the head before I left the house.
While I walked, I thought about getting a job so I could earn money to buy a car. But where? That was the real question.
I got to the bus stop and put my earphones in, then turned up my music. I looked over at the small group of people. This one girl seemed to enjoy herself in staring at me with an evil glare. I scoffed silently in my head me turned my attention back to the road.
The bus got here about thirty minuets later, and I got on and took my usual seat. I leaned back and looked out the window. Then down at my phone. I opened HayDay and played that till I got to school.
I got off and walked up the walkway to my locker, to put my math book away. After I had done that, I turned to walk to gym but Andy was behind me, a teasing smile on his face, his eyes glowing.
"What's up?" I asked, pushing my free hand into my pocket. Andy shrugged, his hands in his front pockets.
"Oh, just thinking about life and eating your soul," he said seriously, looking away, then back at me. He smiled then laughed.
I laughed, too, and we walked down to the football field. I put my earphones in when he put his in and we stood against the wall we were at yesterday. Andy would repeatedly playfully punch my shoulder but then act like it wasn't him. I just ended up doing it back.
"Hey, Janet's giving you the eye," Andy said, catching my attention. I looked up at him. He liked down at me with his pretty green eyes.
"Who?"
He pointed at a girl standing with a group of preps under the oak tree. "Janet." That was the same girl from the bus stop.
"What about her?"
"I was wondering if you knew her because she's giving you some seriously bitchy looks," he said. I rolled my eyes.
"I don't care about her. It's not worth it. My fucks have more dignity," I said. Andy barked out a laugh then held his hand up for a high five. I returned it.
"Accomplishment!" he said with a smile. I liked how his right lip ring twisted up in his smile.
Then the bell rang and I groaned loudly when Andy did. We looked at each other knowingly.
"And that's the sound of hells bells," he moaned. I chuckled and nodded.
"Tell me about it," I muttered.
We waited till some people had gone in before we walked in. We parted ways and went to our classes. Andy punched my arm playfully before turning and running off before I could do it back.
The rest of the day solely inched past, and then I was out of lunch and heading to fifth. I ran into Andy in the hallway, and then punched his arm teasingly.
