Fifteen:
I rolled lazily out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I took a fast shower, before I made my way back to my room. I got dressed, went back to the bathroom and did my hair and some eyeliner under my eyes, then grabbed my notebook out of my room, putting my phone into my back pocket and my earphones in my front pocket.
I ate some cereal before I walked outside. The sun was actually coming out. It was still cold, but the sun was starting to come out. I put my earphones in and walked to the bus stop. Andy had something to do and couldn't pick me up. Ugh. Dick.
When the bus got here, I got on and took a seat till it got to the school. Also known as hell.
I walked up the sidewalk, my hands shove in my front pockets as I walked to my locker. I got out my binder and then closed it, walking down the walkway a little ways and standing against a brick pillar. It was kinda chilly out, but I didn't bring a jacket. Eh. I'd survive.
I turned my music up, and looked around. I saw Andy's car pull up in the lot. He got out and shoved his hands in his front pockets before he also looked around. I turned my head away.
About a minuet later, he found me and came up. I looked up at him, pulling an earbud out.
"Hey," I said. He nodded and leaned against the pillar with me.
"Hey."
I played around with my phone for a moment before I looked back up at Andy.
"You alright, dude? You look tense as hell," I said. He shrugged.
"I guess," he muttered.
"Is it Clare?" I asked carefully. He looked at me and scoffed.
"I couldn't care less. But I have to admit, that did sting just a little," he told me. I nodded.
"Yeah I understand," I said.
I was right about the whole sun thing. It finally came out. It felt warm. I noticed Andy turn to me.
"Uh, I need to tell you something," he said. He looked nervous. I furrowed my eyebrows, confused.
"Sure."
"Um," he rubbed the back of his neck before he looked back down at me. "Just please don't hate me after this."
"What?" I asked. He lifted a hand, holding my face.
"Uh, this is hard for me to say," he trailed off. I looked at him.
"Yeah?"
He looked down at me, his bright green eyes sparkling. They were almost blue. He chewed on his right lip ring. He had those black studs in.
"I was wondering," he started. "Do you know what it's like to fall for your best friend?"
I looked at him, not realizing until after a moment. I opened my mouth to say something but he shook his head, cutting me off and pressing his lips to mine.
He still held my face in one hand, and the other wrapped around me, holding me by my waist. I was caught off gaurd, but closed my eyes and held his hand to my face, the other arm I wrapped around his neck. He blew softly into my mouth, making me shiver. I could feel both lip rings in between my lips.
After a moment, he pulled back, looking at me. I looked up at him.
"I'm sorry," he muttered, trailing off. He tried to move away. I just held him there.
"For what?"
He looked at me, almost surprised. I looked down, dropping my arms. But then he just wrapped his back around me. I wrapped mine around his torso because he was warm. I pressed my ear against his chest. I could hear his heart.
