"The bell does not dismiss you, I dismiss you!" Mr. Way said after the bell rang.

"Then what the fuck is the bell there for?" My head snapped back, trying to find the person who dared to talk back to Mr. Way, one of the more strict teachers. He was fun, but he definitely did not like to get embarrassed, much less me talked back to by a student.

"Josh. You do not talk back to me like that." Mr. Way yelled.
He does have a point.
"Tyler. I would like for you and Josh to stay after class." Shit. Did I say that out loud? Well, looks like I can't take it back now. My head hung low for the next minute, until class was dismissed. I met up with Josh while we waited for Mr. Way to clean up his papers and for everyone else to leave the room.
"Hey, thanks for backing me up. I'm Josh." The kid, Josh, shook my hand.
"I'm Tyler, nice to meet you." Our greeting was cut off by Mr. Way stomping our way (no pun intended).

"I am calling both of your parents and sending you to the office so you can learn some manners! You do not talk to me like that!" He practically sounded like a little kid at this point, whining about having to share toys.

"No, Mr. Way, please don't call-" his face was almost as red as his hair when I plead for mercy.
"This isn't a pity party, TJ." Mr. Way had just called me TJ. I didn't like that very much.

"My name is Tyler." I informed. Mr. Way pushed us both to the office and sat us down in the lobby while talking to the vice principal, Mr. Wentz.

"So uh, what are some of your hobbies?" I asked Josh, trying to break the awkward silence.

"Well, I play drums in a band called House of Heroes. I like to dye my hair and skip classes." Damn. Josh seemed like the total package. I realized I was blushing. I was openly gay, but I had never been attracted to a guy so quickly.
I decided to tell him about myself. "I play a lot of instruments. The ukulele, bass, guitar, piano, and some drums. I also like beanies and skeletons. And I'm gay. Oh, that was weird, I'm sorry." My face felt hot, and I knew by the look on Josh's face, that I was blushing big-time.

"No, no. That wasn't weird at all. I respect that. I'm bisexual." He gave me the warmest smile I'd ever seen. I noticed how his tongue stuck out slightly through his teeth when he smiled, and he squints his eyes. It was so adorable.

 It was so adorable
