This is a short, filler sort of chapter. I want to make this book as long as possible, and I'm out of ideas to write about at the moment. Sorry about that <3

"Up next we have Andy Biersack singing an original song." We were supposed to be after Andy, but Debby stepped in so we'd have more time to prepare. Although she was Josh's ex girlfriend, she still loved and cared for us, as if she were family.

I looked back to see that Josh had wrote "Twenty Øne Piløts?" On his drum set. It was a nice touch. We brought ski masks, which would grab peoples attention since it was so unusual.

"Do you think we can make out before we're up?" Josh whined.

"No, you ass." I chuckled, poking his belly. "We have to set up our stuff behind the curtain while Andy performs. The curtain is closed right now, so we'll set up the piano and drums behind the curtain and wait for Debby to finish." Josh nodded, taking me in his arms.

"You're nervous Ty. I can tell. It's okay hun, you'll do great." Josh made me feel a lot better.

"Let's just hope you don't distract me. You're pretty hot when you play your drums." I said.

"Well, drums aren't the only thing I want to bang tonight." Josh winked. He was such a flirt.

"Alright, let's finish setting up."

"Debby Ryan up next singing Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day." The announcer scared the shit out of me, and I was already on edge.

"Don't freak out, don't have another panic attack, you can do this." I always told myself three true facts about myself to ward off any panic attacks.

"My name is Tyler Robert Joseph and I am eighteen. Fact one. I am dating Joshua William Dun. Fact two. I'm in a band called Twenty Øne Piløts. Fact three. I can do this." Josh must have heard me, and kneeled down in front of me as I was sitting on the piano seat.

"You about to have another panic attack?" I nodded, burying my face in my hands.

"Just remember what I said before. You've got this."

Debby came backstage, and I could 't stop myself from shaking and bouncing my leg.

"Up next, a band called Twenty Øne Piløts, consisting of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. They will be performing their original song called Ode to Sleep."

The giant curtains opened, revealing a crowd of students and parents. I even recognized a few faces. Mrs. Martinez was here, and I wondered why because she usually was busy working with Melanie on her clothes. That's when it hit me. Melanie is backstage getting ready to sing right now. I didn't want to have to face her after our one night stand, but I ignored that for now.

The music started.
"I wake up fine and dandy..."
I looked over at Josh, who seemed to carried away in his drumming to realize that he was in a room full of people. When we hit the pause in the song, we slid on the ski masks, turning everyones attention to us. I heard a few whispers, assuming they were talking about us.

"The dark's not taking prisoners tonight." Somewhere, deep down, I hoped that at least one person in the crowd was actually listening to the lyrics that I wrote, trying to find the meaning behind them.

"I swear I heard demons yelling, those crazy words they were spelling. They told me I was gone, they told me I was gone."

"Please tell them you have no plans for me, I will set my soul on fire. What have I become? I'm sorry." I almost cried tears of joy when we finished. Josh and I walked to the front of the stage and put an arm around each other.

"We're Twenty Øne Piløts and so are you!" We yelled into the crowd before bowing and walking off stage.
