Hunter and Nicole talked about Ava at a restaurant
After they talked they went to go talk with Reece
Hunter told Nicole that she can stay at his place but only for a month till she finds her own place

By the time I woke up Hunter was already gone and I was already late for my first class.

Great.

I rushed out of that place so fast that you'd think I was in the Olympics. When I reached, my class, sweat was already forming on my forehead while the entire class quieted down and looked at me. My cheeks burned up when the professor scolded me for being 10 minutes late.

I shamefully took a seat and tried to redeem myself by answering as many questions as I could. By the end of the class I blended in with the crowd trying to avoid the burning gaze that I felt the professor was giving me.

I missed a few classes after Ava's death, so when we make it out the door, I stopped a random blonde girl and asked her about it. She told me that I didn't miss much just a few notes, the girl said that she'd email them to me as soon as she gets the chance. I give her my email address and bid her a friendly goodbye.

To my side I find Hunter walking around in the park with his computer bag; I watch him as he sits down on a bench before taking out his computer. I wonder why he didn't wake me up this morning did he want me to be late?

I didn't lock the apartment.

Fuck...

Mentally going through my class schedule, I know that I only have class in three hours again which gives me enough time to go back to the apartment and lock it. Maybe even take a shower because I honestly stink considering of all the running I have done today and the fact that I didn't take a shower this morning or last night.

I take a deep breath before I start making my way to the apartment. If I don't become fit by the end of the year, then I don't know.

When I get to our apartment, I stand outside and get my keys that Hunter gave me. Well technically he didn't give them to me, he just put it on the bedside table next to my phone where he knew I would fin-

The sound of a creaking door steals my attention looking up I watch as the door slowly creaks open.

I drop the keys in uttermost dismay, my face blank from emotions until the thump of the keys on the carpet brings me back to reality.

Shaking my head slightly I rid myself of shock when bending down to pick up the keys; I step inside cautiously looking around for any intruders.

A resounding bang resonates in the room, and my heart beat picks up as I spin around to see the door closed. I rush towards it and try opening it, but it doesn't budge.

The ringing of my phone makes my breathing go faster. Stepping away from the door I pull out my phone, fear tickling my throat as I stare at the unknown caller.

I hesitantly swipe the answer option and put it to my ear cautiously looking around me.

"What do you want?" I demand, trying to sound brave.

"Well hello to you too" the person mocks.

I curl my hands into fists trying to contain my anger. Laughter rings through the phone, and I bite down on my teeth.
