Last chapter recap
- Nicole met her neighbour Kate when she came to ask for a tube of toothpaste.
- Nicole got another call from the mysterious number but blocked it soon after.
- Nicole ran into Sam again when she was heading for the medical centre for her injuries.
- Sam tells Nicole that he is studying medicine and offers to do the check up for her so she doesn't have to walk so far.
- Nicole agrees and Sam takes her to his dorm room but when they get there Sam's step brother Reece targets Nicole as one of his future one night stands.
- Sam drags Nicole away before Reece can try anything and apologies for his behaviour.
- Nicole finds out that Reece went to the dorm room she stays in to hook up with her neighbour Kate at half 3.
- She also finds out that he was there when no one was in her room.

Previous Chapter

"One last question then I'll drop this. What time did he go?", I ask.

"Around half 3 something", he informs me but by the tone of his voice I can tell he is getting annoyed with me but I don't care.

I left at one o'clock and Ava said she went on her date 2 hours after I left. Meaning she left at three and I only came back again at past five which was when all that stuff happened.

shit..

Sam's face softens when he starts to see the worry in my face "Is there a problem?", he asks discerningly.

"A big one", I mumble under my breath.

Current Chapter

"Look, Sam, I have to go", I say as I take a step back. "I'm sorry but I need to get back it's getting late and I have classes tomorrow morning". Staring at the confused boy in front of me I can't help but think how the hell I am going to get past Reece outside without being harassed.

"What about your check up?", he asks. Hesitating I say "I'm feeling better" before I run in the direction we came in. I need to get to Kate and ask her about Reece as soon as possible because if it was him then well...

That's creepy.

It would also not make sense considering the note and that he wasn't there when we played the game.

I stop running when I see the soft light streaming in from the outside, I catch my breath before walking calmly out the door. Looking around I don't see Reece anywhere and I release a breath.

Feeling a buzz in my pocket I pull out my phone to see a message from Ava.

Ava

Do you mind not coming home for another 2 hours, I brought my date back here

My eyes widen, 2 hours?

Nicole

What the hell am I going to do for 2 hours, it's getting late out!

Ava

Come to onnnnnn Nicole help a girl out, he's a nice guy

Nicole

Fine, but can you at least do a something for me?

Ava

Sure :)

Can you go to the room across from ours and ask if Kate's there then tell me. Don't ask why, please.
