"But doctor! I don't want to go home yet!" I whined
"No! I'm taking you home right now! Look, if the Daleks want you killed they would suspect you to be traveling with me. And I run into them. Allot. I don't want you to get killed!" he said as he placed his hands on my cheeks and looked me in the eyes. I could see his genuine concern for my wellbeing.
"Fine!" I said reluctantly
"I'll go get your stuff." What a gentleman.
Immediately when he left the room I started pressing a few switches and typed a passcode into the key board.
"What are you doing?" he asked looking at me with wonder.
"Oh. Nothing just savoring my last moments with you and the Tardis." Boy am I a great liar or what?
He then opened the doors to the Tardis and he gave me a big hug. And right before he left I ran into the Tardis and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. He looked dumbfounded. I gave a quick snicker before I left the Tardis. I watched it dematerialize and a tear slid down my cheek.
For the Next few months I would wait for the doctor. Yet as every day passed I kept losing my faith that he would ever return. Was this what happened to all of his companions?
After that every time I thought I heard the comforting noise of the Tardis I would look around to see nothing. Once when I was giving a speech in Language Arts I thought I heard the Tardis and stopped Mid-sentence. Doesn't surprise me how I got a C on that assignment.
I would sometimes like to doodle on my papers. Most of the time it was a drawing of his sonic or a drawing of the Tardis. Boy did I miss adventuring or what!
After a while I gave up hope and returned to a normal life.
One day in the Cafeteria I was getting my pizza when I hear a voice "You will be upgraded"
Everyone laughed it off thinking it was someone's way over the top prank. But only this time, it wasn't a prank, it was real.
At that exact moment I got out my phone and started texting rapidly.my fingers burning from the rapid pace.
After I was done I sent a mental note
"Doctor We need you!!! Help Doctor!"
"So in all of time and space where do you want to g-" the doctor was asking Amy pond before suddenly the Tardis doors napped shut and the Tardis started to move
"So where are you taking me?" Amy asked confused considering she didn't even say yes or no yet.
"Umm I don't know. I didn't exactly do tha-" before he could finish the sentence a hologram of me appeared.
"Hello doctor! Your probably wondering what the heck is going on right now. But I programmed the Tardis to have an emergency teleportation just in case something wrong happened. Well right now something is happening and the Tardis will take close to the location of my distress. Be prepared for anything! Oh, and by the way tell your new companion I said hi!"
"Oh she is cleverer than I thought!" He said with a small smirk on his face.
"What is going on?" Amy asked severely confused
"Oh, Just a quick pit stop! Don't worry well be back in no time!" he then got out of the Tardis doors to see the situation that was mass chaos in the lunch room.
Cybermen.1, 000's of kids to be upgraded. He looked around to see me being cornered by some Cybermen
"The Galaxy Child must be destroyed!" they said as they slowly closed in on me!
"Stop! Please Just Stop! Doctor Help!" I said I was cringing in the corner. Then I stood up.
"You know what you filthy scumbags! You are just leeches that all! You feed off of our weaknesses and make them you strengths! So you know what Just LEAVE.ME.ALONE!" I said as orange bursts of light flew from my body. All of the Cybermen within a mile Radius were toasted. I then looked at myself.
Great. I was a 13 year old girl. I was ginger (Take That doctor!)And I was really short for my age.
The doctor came over to me and knelt to make eye contact with me (pretty sad right!)
"B.But how did you?" he looked at me with tears in his eyes
"Well... I added space to the Tardis memory. So now every Living companion has a panic button just in case an emergency like this one ensues. Oh yeah and I had a dream where you met a redheaded girl..." My eyes then looked and spotted Amy.
"Ah you must Be Amy Pond! The Tardis Has told me all about you!" I said with glee in my eyes
"Doctor! Who is this?" she asked looking at me...
"Amelia I would like you to meet my previous companion Kayla!"
"Oi! Not so Fast there sly boy! I still am your companion!"
"Now, Back to my question .How did you do that explodey thingy?" he looked at me with hope in his eyes.
"Oh Dear Time lord! By now you should know what Regeneration looks like! So know this you're. Not. Alone. And as it turns out...I'm the last Time Lady..."
