You honestly never expected to see the day. It was truly beautiful. The sunlight hitting you as you walked out of the hospital felt truly wonderful. Your smile grew as Mio waved from across the street with her husband at her side. It was welcoming to say the least, but then again, everything was welcoming when you spend multiple nights in a place where people die every day.
"Y/n, Y/n, Y/n!" Mio yelled.
Jumping up and down on her spot, she seemed to be buzzing with excitement. It wasn't that strange seeing as she made it a point to visit every single moment of the visiting hours. She had felt as though your hospital experience was all her fault. If she hadn't invited you to come to the Sand, you would have never encountered Deidara, but you knew deep down in your heart, you were going to head to the Sand anyways. You missed Mio more than anything else. You were also bored and angry with life in your home village. Every day, it had felt the same, and you needed the break that coming to the Sand would provide.
"Mio, Mio, Mio!" you yelled back.
Crossing the street, you practically glomped your cousin to the ground. If it weren't for her husband holding her, you would have probably hurt her.
"It's about time that you got out of the hospital." Mio muttered, "Are you hungry?"
"Starving!"
Hospital food, while it might look good, it wasn't exactly settling right in your stomach. You admit, you had gotten sick from eating it, but that was because you learned that the Sand shinobi like to spice their food up with literal spices. They practically coated everything to the point that only those with strong stomachs could handle it.
"I know a cute little shop that sells dumplings."
"Dumplings?! I haven't had any for ages!"
"Then, let's head over."

Deidara stared down below at the village with a sigh. Ever since his arrival, Sasori had been cleaning up his so-called "mess." It hadn't been his intention to make himself look bad, but it was harder than he thought to find the Hidden Sand Village when there was no map in his possession. Yes, Sasori did find out that he didn't have one, then proceeded to scold him beyond belief for being careless. Deidara hated the fact that he had to explain to his man, Sasori, that there had been a girl that helped him get to the village. After further questioning, Sasori took it upon himself to bother looking into things. That's currently what was happening. Deidara was waiting to hear back on news from the Sand.
He was getting terribly bored. However, he was not going to do anything seeing as he didn't want to give away his position. Besides that, Sasori threatened to numb Deidara's body to the point of not being able to breath if he dared to cause anymore trouble. If that wasn't bad enough, Deidara had been forced to communicate with Pein, who had send Sasori when he hadn't been able to report anything back while being unconscious in the Sand. It seemed as though he was going to have to go through the embarrassment of facing Kisame and Hidan after all. He was also never going to be allowed to go on another solo mission ever again. Shuttering at the thought, he knew that Sasori was going to come back pissed off. The whole village had been on the look out for Deidara for almost a week now, and while things seemed to be going quiet, it wasn't smart to jump right back in. There had to be a reason that the Hidden Leaf send Anbu to the Sand.
"I'm back, brat."
Sasori trailed his way to the top of the village wall. While Deidara was tired of the heat, his partner didn't seem to be completely bothered by it at all. That was to be expected since he was a puppet, but he sometimes had to wonder if there was a chance that there was air conditioning inside Hiruko or something. Surely, he had to have some sort of ventilation for when he had been human. A puppet cloaked in black was not a smart move in the middle of the desert.
