You stumbled through darkly lit hallways. It was hard to see, but you did your best to make sure that you kept up with the brunette that promised to be your mentor. Ori didn't bother to stop her quick pace even when she motioned and pointed out rooms. Her sleeved hands were rapidly addressing spaces. A kitchen. A bathroom with no shower. An entertainment space. Ori's bedroom. A meeting room. Bedrooms that were meant for the members. The front entrance.

When Ori had told you that even if you wanted to escape, you wouldn't be able to, it hadn't made sense to you. However, it made sense as you stood there glancing at the giant stone that blocked the entrance completely. It was so massive that even a hundred men wouldn't be able to push it out of the way. This discouraged you from the idea of escaping until you thought about the fact that there was a chance if you were to be placed on a mission. No one would be keeping track of what you would be doing, or that is what Ori made it sound like. Asking random questions, you hoped it would throw her suspicions off. The last thing you needed to do was alert her to your intentions.

"This is the main entrance." Ori said.

You glanced to find her staring at the stone.

"Like I said before, it can only be opened by an Akatsuki member."

As she pointed towards the stone, she flashed you a smile.

"But, if you really want to go outside, there's a training ground in the back."

Your heart skipped a beat at the thought of open ground that you could use to escape.

"It's next to the canyon."

Her smile grew with a bit of a mischievous glint emerging in her gaze.

"Below in the canyon is a streaming river."

A river? Then, surely-...

"It's more like a river with rapids. If you even think about jumping into it, you'll surely die. Trust me, I watched a prisoner try it once. His body washed up near the shore of a village almost thirty miles away from here. He had died upon impact is what Kakuzu-Sama told everyone."

All thoughts of escape disappeared as you realized that there was no way to escape. If there was a giant rock blocking the main entrance and a rapid filled river surrounding the back, where else could you go?

"Don't worry though, I bet that you'll love it here soon enough."

Ori tilted her head to the side.

"I would love to introduce you to all the members, but it seems as though Pein-Sama is holding a meeting for missions as of right now. I don't think you'll get a proper introduction with all of them at once."

That was a relief. You didn't want to meet men that murdered people for a living. Though, you hoped that none of them were as harsh as Deidara.

"That's okay." you said.

"We'll have to make them something to eat."

"Like what?"

"I don't know. What are you good at making?"

As much as you hated the idea of cooking meals for the Akatsuki, you were actually hungry yourself. You didn't really eat the food that was given since it was horrible. It then hit you.

"Did you make the food I ate earlier?" you blurted out.

Her eyes widened at your bluntness before her cheeks turned pink.

"Um...it was that obvious, huh?" she nervously responded, "I can't really cook. I'm kind of a beginner in the kitchen. That's why you would probably be better."
