Blood and body parts. All the things that you would not have to clean up from a bedroom. However, you threw yet another hand into the large plastic blue bin that Ori brought in to transport the parts.
"Why are we the ones cleaning up this mess?" You whined. The question lingered in your mind ever since Hidan came barging into the kitchen to boss you and Ori to fix his room. Being an Akatsuki member, you had to do whatever he wanted even when you had no urge to touch his undies.
"Because no one else is stupid enough to do whatever Hidan wants."
You pulled the sheets off the bed causing a head to roll onto the ground. You screamed slightly before placing your free hand on your chest.
"This man is a maniac!"
"And this surprises you?"
"Not really. He's kind of an ass."
Nodding her head, Ori threw a leg into the bin.
"He must have really gone all out this time since he usually only kills one person. But, I have counted a total of at least three bodies."
You hadn't kept track of how much you have cleaned. It just kind of blurred into one cycle of clean up. Every single member of the Akatsuki came back with evidence of murder. Sure, they stressed that they're all S-rank criminals known for massacring villages, but it kind of doesn't hit you until you saw the amounts of washes it took to dissolve the blood and mud from their cloaks.
Folding up the sheet, you placed it next to the bin. The bed took most of the damage. Once white, it had been stained crimson, which reminded you that you would never again use any light colored bedding in Hidan's room. This had been the fifth time you questioned white. Was it cheaper? Probably, most of the stuff in the Akatsuki base was cheaper because Kakuzu would never spend a fortune on other people. He had plenty of money, but he hated using it. Though, you knew he kept a large stash between his mattresses. You would never touch that at the risk of losing your heart.
"I'll go grab a bucket to wash the walls." Ori sighed while wiping her hair out of her eyes.
"Yeah."
She barely disappeared out the door when a figure entered. You puffed your cheeks and pretended to focus on getting the pillow cases.
"Hey." Deidara said.
"Oh, you're still here."
You didn't want to acknowledge him after the trouble he caused you, yet your job required that you speak when a member talked to you.
"Harsh." He muttered behind you, "I just got back from a mission."
Spinning around him, you placed the folded pillow cases on top of the sheets. You moved passed him and grabbed hold of the comforter sitting on the ground.
"I honestly thought that you would have died by now." He bluntly stated.
Whipping towards him, you almost flipped him the bird, but you held it back.
"Do you need something because I'm busy cleaning up this shit?" You snapped.
The blond stared at you a moment. A sly smirk crossed his lips. It made your blood boil on the inside since he managed to get you to speak to him regardless of the fact that you wanted to rip out his throat.
"I just wanted to check to see how you were doing."
"I'm doing just fine. You could even say that I am doing amazing!"
"Really now?"
The sound of water splashing caused you to turn your head. Ori dragged a bucket into the room. She grunted clearly not being able to lift it. She froze in the door frame.
