It was a quiet and smooth drive, the road was empty, so we got there in a reasonable amount of time. We pulled up to the entrance, some people stared at me as I got out of the car. I sighed, I am used to the staring by now, it happens every time I come here. I walked into the mall and was met with the cold rush of air conditioning. It's been crazy hot lately, so this air felt great. I strolled through the mall to my favorite makeup store, Twilight Kiss. I waved at the attendant, and she sent me a smile. I looked around saw a pretty shade of silver as an eyeshadow.

I picked it up and held it in my hands, it was a decent weight, and I smiled as it sparkled in my hands.

'Now that I think about it, that ball is coming up... I should probably look around for a dress while I'm here...'

With my mind made and the new eyeshadow in hand, I walked up to the register. The pretty redhead gave me a smile, her green eyes twinkling at me.

"Hey (y/n)."

"Hey, Sylvia."

"How've you been? I haven't seen you here lately."

I shrugged and gave her the shadow.

"Eh, practice and school."

She nodded her mouth, making an 'o.'

"Here, these go along with this collection."

In the bag along with the eyeshadow, she put in eyeliner, and a bottle of mascara, and a small bottle of perfume. I smiled at her and put a 20 in her tip jar.

"Thanks, boo~."

I laughed and took the bag from her.

My money was never good at that store, but I always gave her a good tip. She's been one of my closest friends since grade school, she's also apart of my anime club. She gestured toward the staff only door.

"You left a bag at my house, it's in the staff room and you can go get it if you'd like." her eyes twinkled in mischief, and I couldn't help but smile at her.

"I think I'll do that."

I took the bag from her across the counter and slowly made my way to the room. I glanced around, making sure no one was watching and slipped into the room and sighed, I put my bag next to the green bag waiting for me on the table. I opened it and put my long (h/c) hair into a short blonde wig. (if you're already blonde then sorry x3) I put on a fake pair of red spectacles and smiled to myself mimicking a voice.

"Oh hello, bassy darling~!!!"

I let out a giggle at myself and slipped on a pair of black leggings under my dress, and covered the rest of it with a dark red hoodie. Satisfied that I didn't look anything like myself, I turned to my right where another door stood, calling for me to open it.

I took a breath and opened the door, and I'm greeted with the loud anime opening of FairyTail. I hummed along and started my descent into Hotter Topics. The walls were a deep shade of purple with black lace decorations. I made a beeline for the anime section.

Oh? Why did I change my appearance and come through a secret door? I already said I'd rather be safe than sorry, and I'm taking every step I can to be safe. I made it to the anime section pretty, and I was finally able to squeal in excitement. There were many figurines and clothes and almost everything you can think of. I picked up a white, long sleeve attack on Titan shirt, and squealed at how cute it was because it had chibi Eren, Armin, Mikasa, and Levi each eating a macaroon.

I ended up getting another shirt except for this time it is a pale pink with Luchia on it from Mermaid Melody, several Tokyo Ghoul bracelets, a white to pale blue gradient, a sparkly shirt that said 'Mermaid' on it in black cursive letters and a pair of black butler earphones. I was waiting next in line for the register when a stand caught my eye.
