Narrator POV:

Daichi served with a powerful, strong serve. The ball went straight to Mimi who received it perfectly, sending it elegantly to Winter.

Winter licked her lips and smiled as she and Arina locked eyes. The ball landed in Winter's hands, and before the boys knew it, Arina had smacked a quick down their court right in front of Ethan. Ethan watched as the ball bounced off the floor and flew way over his head into the out-of-bounds behind him. He clenched his jaw as a girl smirked at his team. Suga blew the whistle and one point was added to the girl's side.

The girls smiled and patted (y/n) on the back, as she went up to serve. She bounced the ball once, twice, and then caught it in her hand.

"Yeah! Go killer serve!" The girls cheered.

(Y/n) smiled. It made the boys uneasy, they knew that she had watched them play, but they had never seen her or heard about the abilities that she possessed. They all looked at her team, and they were just as relaxed as they were when they started as if nothing could phase them, and that frightened them even more.

She tossed the ball up, and with the loud and satisfying smack, the ball went straight to Daichi who went into a perfect receiving position, only for the ball to hit and ricochet back out of bounds.

It was silent before the whistle sounded and the eruption of cheers came from the girl's team. The boys were awestruck. Daichi was in the perfect position to receive that service, as he normally would and was often depended on to do. But that serve... there was something about it, yes it was really strong and hit with a lot of force, but it was something else entirely that made that ball ricochet.

"Did she... hit it at an angle?" Oikawa asked bewildered.

Everyone looked at him like he was crazy and then he decided to elaborate on what he meant.

"Normally, when you hit a serve your arm stays straight and your body moves to where you want the ball to the project. However, what she did was move only her hand when she hit it. Making the ball have a very intricate spin. The ball could be hit soft and still have an unreceivable course."

Hinata gasped at Oikawa. He replayed the serve in his head, now seeing what he had meant. He looked at the girl with high respect, and couldn't help the feeling boiling in his stomach. Not quite anxiety, but not quite full excitement either. It seemed as though someone had a serve even better than the Great King's. He didn't know whether to be jealous or thankful that he was not on the court.

"That was amazing!"

(Y/n) turns to the ref behind her, she smiled at Tadashi sweetly, having a very unconscious soft spot for the boy.

"Thank you, Tadashi!"

Said boy's face grew red at the attention from her, he was suddenly aware of the many glares he was getting from the opposite side of the court. But yet he couldn't help but be happy.

The girl was beginning to grow on him, and he knew for a fact his best friend felt the same way, although he would never admit it if you asked him. There was just something about her, she was always so happy and had a genuine smile on her face. But yet sometimes when she wasn't looking at everyone her eyes kind of dulled and her smile would disappear for just a second.

Deep down, he really wished that maybe one day she would open up to him and tell him her problems and concerns. His face flushed at his thoughts before shaking his head and signaling Suga to start the next serve.

The next serve was sent straight to Ethan, but his reaction time wasn't good, ironically for a libero, and he missed getting another point for the girl's team. This happens another three times before the server sighed.

"This is getting boring, tell you what, I'll let up on this one so we can actually have a game to play." She winked at the boys and got ready.

All of the boys were growing to love her, but they were getting irritated with this newfound personality she took on on the court. So they all got ready, determined to receive this one, and to show them what they were made of.

'Like hell, they were going to lose to girls'

They got down and ready, and the serve went once again to Ethan, he received it nicely and sent it to the pudding cup as he called him. Said pudding cup looked really bored, but got ready, he glanced around watching, waiting, before finally deciding. He sent the ball To Kuroo, who did a nice 'A' quick; managing to score the first point for the boys.

The girl smiled, and the boy's victory was short. It dawned upon them then the girls hadn't even attempted to receive the hit. They all stood in the exact same spot, and Kuroo almost felt offended.

"They didn't even attempt to get it... They just stood there and let it go. Was it because it was too fast or..."

Realization washed over them.

' They let us have the point.'

The girls giggled, deciding the boy's faces were amusing. Now deep down each and every one of those girls was fangirling and each vying for another boy's attention. Luckily none of them were vying for the same one, but it still didn't change it.

This continued on and on and on each one desperate for a point. Although it seems as though the boys were attempting to make an actual point for themselves. Majority of the plays they were receiving seem to be handed to them. A girl purposely started a little too slow, or made the wrong call and then giggled right after it.

This game to them didn't seem like it was real, they just kept giggling after every play and whispering to themselves while making hand gestures. It irritated the boys to no end, here they were trying with all their hearts to make a serious point and these girls racked them up so much, they know they were never going to win.

The score was 22-10. The girls of course in the lead. The boys were as agitated as they were tired and even said pudding cup was showing a bit of distress at such a large amount of points behind.

It's Winter's turn to serve. Something about her cute aura changed as soon as she stepped up. She was reeking intimidation, and the boys were scared but at the same time in awe of her beauty. It was stated multiple times that Winter is the most beautiful girl in school, and her personality was too sweet... Until she got on the court.

Some time in the game, Akaashi's eyes wandered over to the girl. He was now in the back in the middle, fully prepared to take the beauty's serve. He analyzed her body language, and although intimidated, he was also intrigued.

She was a very pretty, and elegant girl; cool and level-headed, and he had to brush off the small feelings of wanting to get to know the girl more.

Of course not that he would know, the girl was trying her hardest not to have a fangirl fit right there on the court. She was one of the few who truly understood Fukurodani's setter, he was different than what she expected, and about ten times as more handsome then she could have pictured.

The score was now 24-12.

Matchpoint for the girls.

Marinette had switched in with Mimi and was now up to serve once again. The girls cheering her on egging her to get the final point. Mari smiled and toss the ball up let it get hover before smacking it. She had perfectly executed a jump float, and the pinch server behind her watched in amazement. The ball was saved by Ethan and sent over to Oikawa, he licked his lips, before sending it to Kei. The girls smiled and did a soft block, allowing Eliza to pick it up easily. She sent it to Winter, and she sent it over to (y/n). (Y/n) hit it only to be blocked by the moon.

She groaned playfully. "Tsukki~"

The boy blushed at her antics and landed. The ball was dug up by Mari but was a little off, causing it to go to Winter at an angle. Winter took it in her hands gently, and sent it to Carina who jumped up, and smacked the toss hard, causing one of the boys to make a bad call a second too late. It touched Kuroo's hand and flew into out of bounds. The whistle blew and that was it.

The game was over.

25-12
