24-23
Daichi's team winning.
It's been a nail-biting game to watch. Even through all of this, Hinata and Kageyama haven't used their 'freak deviant attack', and quite frankly I was getting impatient, but I was looking forward to when it would surprise me. My knees were bouncing in excitement when Kuroo went to serve. This was the third set, each team barely scraping a set with close scores just like this. Oika chuckled at me from his spot on the court.
"Nice receive!" Hinata called out.
Kageyama had a look of absolute concentration, I felt my heart speed up and my breath catch.
"They're going to do it!" Oika and I said at the same time.
Sure enough, Hinata went up in the air and I watched amazed at the height his tiny body could fly. I watched the volleyball... the ball comes... and then.. it stops.
The sound of the ball hitting the opposite court rang out loudly throughout the gym. Hinata seeming landed on the ground in slow motion as everyone's reaction hit at once.
"EHHHHHHHH??!!!!!"
"Yatta!" Hinata and Kageyama yelled.
"Nice kill!" Daichi yelled.
I was already out of my seat and bolting over to the duo. "Hinata!"
The poor boy had only a split second notice before I jumped into his arms, squeezing him tightly. He yelled out surprised before wrapping his arms around me out of surprise. I was squeezing him a bit tight and I couldn't see his face since I was too into the moment.
"Hinata that was amazing!" I jumped down from the boy with a blushing face.
"You were like zoom! and then you jumped so high and then went Bam! It was so cool to watch!"
I was jumping lightly and jumped into Kageyama so quickly we spun for a second before I got off of him still holding his arms tightly, beaming up at him.
"Kageyama! Your tosses are incredible! To think you can stop the ball at Hinata's point of arrival is phenomenal and it's crazy! Even I can't do that!"
I smiled at him sweetly, "You really are amazing!"
I pulled both of the boys into a hug and they had to deal (unknowingly to reader-chan) with all the glares from the other ten boys. I pulled away and smiled happily at everyone giving them high fives before going under the net and hugging Kenma.
"You were amazing too. You could easily read some of their moves and adjusted to get ahead." I whispered them quickly pulled away suddenly remembering his lack of liking affection.
Unknowing to me, Kenma was sad that I pulled away, feeling a bit cold without my warmth despite just playing a nearly two-hour match. I gave everyone on Kuroo's team a high five too until I got to the scheming captain himself. I raised my hand for a high five but he shot me down quickly.
"Uh ah. Why does Kenma get a hug and I don't?" he pouted.
I couldn't help but laugh and hold my arms out for the pouting captain. He leaned in to hug and the next thing I knew he was sweeping me up into his arms princess style.
"Kya??!!" I squealed.
He then started to twirl and I instantly held onto him so I didn't go flying.
"Kuroo!!!" I laughed and smacked his arm playfully.
"Oh?! You're hitting me now?" he stopped swinging me and I felt the support on my back start to lessen.
