My heart's pace fastened every single step towards the gate. I watched from far away as she stood, next in line. My feet hit the tile hard as I began to run. The noise of my feet echoed through the whole room, my jacket flowing backwards along with my hair's dark bangs, and the view of Jamie getting closer to the plane as I tried so hard to get closer to her oblivious-self.

Once I arrived to the check-in desk, she was in the tunnel, walking towards the plane. Out of breath, I begged the receptionist to let me onto the plane.

"I'm sorry, sir, but if you don't have a ticket, then you are not allowed to enter this plane," she said, smiling slightly to make me feel better.

"Can I buy a ticket?" I asked her.

"I'm sorry, but the plane is leaving in twenty minutes, and there are no open seats," she replied. I sighed and walked over to the window. I thought about the past few weeks. I thought about Jamie. I thought about getting to know her more and what it'd be like if I'd never made that stupid mistake. I wondered about her past. The plane's movement dragged me out of my thoughts. I sighed and started to walk along the window, following the plane as it moved towards the runway.

Jamie Benson

I awoke after about twenty minutes to the plane moving. I looked out of my window and into the airport. I rubbed my eyes and noticed a figure that seemed oddly familiar. The male stature turned to face the plane once there was no more room to walk. The person shoved their hands into their pant's pockets and shrugged their shoulders lazily. The person searched looked at the length of the plane as if they were searching for something. I pressed my face against the glass to get a slightly closer and better view of who it was. My eyes widened as I noticed who it was. I grabbed my phone quickly and flashed my flashlight multiple times. He moved his arms rapidly waving. I grabbed my things and rushed to the front of the plane.

"You've got to let me off of this plane right now. If you don't, I'll be stranded with no adults in a country I don't know," I rushed loudly. The flight attendant nodded rapidly and ran to the cockpit. A few seconds later she returned and told me to sit and wait. I sat back in my seat and the plane made its way back to the tunnel. I got up and thanked the flight attendant while I hugged her. She opened the plane door for me.

I ran.

I ran to the tunnel. Fast. As I entered, the lady yelled at me, but I didn't care. All I cared about was getting to Jamie and apologizing. I head fast footing get louder and louder as I ran faster and faster. Finally, I saw her. She jumped and wrapped her legs around my waist. I looked at her for two seconds before smashing my lips into hers. It felt like forever. It felt like one of those movies where the camera circles around the couple as they kiss. The thing is, we're not a couple. But, if she gives me a second chance, I want to do it right this time. I want to get to know her. I want to develop a relationship gradually. I want to develop trust. I want to gain knowledge and information about her that no one else will ever know as long as we both shall live.

I want her to be mine.
