"Thank you. I'd love to play the part," I replied. I shook the producer and directors hand before walking out of the office. I unbuttoned the front of my suit, taking off my jacket in the process. I sighed in relief as the nerves washed away quickly. I sat in my car and immediately pulled my phone out of my trousers's pocket. As I turned my phone on, I noticed  I had a missed call from an unfamiliar number. As the driver started the car, I dialed the number and pressed the CALL button. It rang a few times before the sweet and familiar voice rang through my phone. I suddenly realized it was Jamie from the movie theater. I smiled as I heard her voice.

"Jamie," I said, "surprised you called." She chuckled slightly before replying.

"Well, I did. So, be happy," she replied, causing me to snickered.

"Well. I'd like to see you again," I said confidently.

"Are you asking me on a date?" She asked playfully.

"I guess I am, Jamie," I replied, "and I'll see you tonight at eight."

"Wait. Eight is kind of late for me," she replied quickly.

"Well, then why don't I come now. We can grab lunch," I negotiated.

"I'd love to. I will meet you at the restaurant off of 5th," she said.

I agreed and we said our goodbyes. Why couldn't she do eight, I thought.

I arrived at the restaurant about twenty minutes after the call and noticed Jamie waiting at an outside table. She smiled at the waiter, who was obviously hitting on her. I clenched my jaw slightly in unnecessary jealousy as I walked to the table. As I approached the table, I shot a small look to the waiter and gave a small hug to Jamie. He quickly took our drink order and walked away. I smiled at Jamie.

"So, first. Why did you want to meet me so bad?" She asked immediately.

"Well, you seemed intriguingly beautiful, and I couldn't let an opportunity pass me by," I replied truthfully. A small redness crawled up her cheeks as she looked away with a small smile spread across her plump lips. I want to kiss you, I thought. The waiter soon returned, placing my water down harshly, causing it to spill intentionally onto my lap.

"My bad," he said, a smile appearing on his face as he softly placed Jamie's drink on the wooden surface, careful not to spill it. I scoffed.

"Oh. Not a problem at all. At least I have balls to have freezing water thrown on," I said, causing him to turn away, irritated with me.

"Well. I'm definitely not eating here," Jamie said, sighing.

"Yeah. I don't want saliva," I agreed.

We agreed to take a walk and paid quickly. After paying, we began walking on the sidewalk. We talked for a while, getting to know each other. During the first twenty minutes of the walk, I had learned a lot about her. And I liked her even more. Suddenly, she gasped, stopping in her tracks.

I stopped, not believing what I saw. Blake and Veronica hand in hand. Her head laying romantically against his strong shoulders. I looked at the ground, a small tear threatening to fall from my eye. I blinked it away and thought of the most stupidest plan in the world.

"Nick. Put you're arm around me. Act like you're my boyfriend. Act like you like me," I demanded.

"Nick. Put you're arm around me. Act like you're my boyfriend. Act like you like me," she demanded mine. I don't have to act, I thought. I do, I thought. I placed my arm around her shoulder as we started to walk once more. Once again, we stopped, but this time it was because of another couple. The girl seemed anxious and the boy seemed upset.
