A sound was heard. A soft, familiar and above all relieving sound. But what was it? It was the only sound you could hear, the only sound which echoed from your eardrums to your mind. The steady rhythm kept you relaxed, kept you in trance.
You then realized that something was going on, that something was not right. Your whole body felt weightless, almost as light as a feather. Your mind was hazy and full of black spots, yet you still could think. Opening your eyes you were shocked to see nothing.
Absolutely nothing but whiteness.
The steady rhythm of the sound continued, sneering through your head and the white space you were in. You now realized how you could feel this weightless, how it was possible that a body could feel this good. You weren't lying on the ground, you were floating.
At least that is what it felt like.
There was no floor beneath you, no ceiling or any walls near. Just you and the white space you were in. You could hear your own breathing clearly and as you looked at yourself you found out that you were unharmed. No scratch, wound or anything which looks like trouble.
Just you...
Where the hell are you?
~~
(??? Point of view)
I threw the body onto the ground carelessly, the harsh smack bouncing off of the cold concrete floor and wringing its way into my ears. She was still breathing, that was more than enough for me. My lidless orbs traveled towards the girl, looking her up and down before my intestines filled themselves with disgust.
How the fuck could she be that careless? How many times have I told her that escaping would be futile? A thousand times, yet she fails to listen. Sometimes I'm wondering if she even has a brain, because no action recently has proven she has one.
Why did I save her anyway? It would be better if she would just die, getting rid of the problem right away. But I couldn't help myself. It was pure luck for me to be there when those wild wolves attacked her. Pure luck and a little help of Smile, whose pack was the one in charge of the assault.
I should've just let them rip her apart; hear her cry and scream of pain whilst she would finally stop breathing. She wouldn't learn, she never learns. She gave me nothing but extreme trouble, a smack against my own pride as well. And for what in return? I enjoyed seeing her suffer; I crave for her pain and sadness.
But that's nothing I can't do with another pet.
Then why her? Why the fuck is she so special? Why in the world did I go through all that trouble just to keep her? Just to keep a worthless, human piece of trash with no sentimental value whatsoever? If I knew I wouldn't be wasting my time asking myself.
It's her. She has something which angers me... Which disgusts me... No... She isn't that special. She isn't special at all. I'm the one who's going nuts... I've become too accustomed of having her around, addicted to her suffering. It's like drugs but ten times worse.
My eyes focused on the shivering, pathetic excuse for a human body lying on the ground. She was shaking, shifting. Her body had taken hit by hit yet it still didn't want to give up. Any idea how hard it was for me to fix her up? To take her to that fuckface with the scalpel?
