BIO: Born as the eldest child of four. Grew up to be an overachiever, having been an excellent athlete who also excelled in the classroom. Met Steve Rogers as a young boy, when Rogers was suffering with bullies. James and Steve found out about America joining the Second World War during an art class, by this time, James was a three-time YMCA welterweight boxing champion. He helped Rogers train for recruitment, where he was enlisted but Rogers was classified as 4f. James was listed under the 107th infantry. During the war, Barnes was taken as hostage by HYDRA, where Rogers, who had gone under PROJECT REBIRTH, went to save him, the friends reuniting. Later during the war, Barnes fell from an HYDRA train, seemingly dying. [EDIT: found by HYDRA later on and taken and used as an assassin, apparently behind many assassinations, such as JFK and Howard and Marilyn Stark, as of 2016, he's in Wakanda under cryostasis]
