“Wake up you lazy shit,” A voice laughed above me, instantly I knew it was Noah and just as I went to lift my quilt over my head it was removed from my body and thrown on the floor leaving me in just an oversized T shirt and my underwear.
“Those are the Minnie Mouse ones I teased you about the first day you moved here,” Noah coo’ed. He was referring to my underwear and yes, those were the ones he pulled out of my bag when I was un-packing.
It feels like it has been such a long time that I have lived her, I feel like I have known Noah, Jacob and Lucas forever as well as Zara and Claire, they’re all like the best friends I never had back in Scotland.
“Get out of bed, we’re going to be late for uni’.” Noah said as he walked out of my room, closing the door behind him.
I forced myself out of bed and went for a quick shower before tackling the horrible task that was picking an outfit.
To say I was nervous would possibly be the biggest understatement of the century. I was petrified. I mean what if I don’t fit in? What if everyone is better at things than me? I didn’t know anyone doing the same course as me and that really petrified me.
I guess I am quite lucky as Noah, Lucas, Claire, Jacob and Zara all attend the same university as me however they are doing different courses and everyone except Zara has already been at the university for a year.
I walked into the living room and could see all the boys giggling in the kitchen to my right.
“What’s so funny?” I asked, I was still half asleep and it was far too early to be laughing and being happy... well, for me anyway.
Covering his eyes, Jacob laughed, “Can I look or is she naked?”
“I wouldn’t be covering my eyes if our little Kiron was naked,” Laughed Lucas.
“Fair point.” Shrugged Jacob.
“I really do hate you Noah O’connor.” I sighed pouring myself a glass of orange juice.
Grabbing the carton from my hand Noah replied, “You don’t really mean that, Love.”
Being the mature, young adult that I am, I stuck my tongue out at him, to which Noah laughed and pulled me into a hug.
“You look lovely.” Noah mumbled into my shoulder.
Jacob and Lucas had gone downstairs to get Zara and Claire, yesterday I found out that we will all take turns at carpooling and this morning was Claire’s turn but there wasn’t room in the car for Noah and I so Noah volunteered to drive.
“Thank you.” I blushed into his neck.
Noah pulled out of the hug holding me at arms’ length. Smirking, he said, “You’re cute when you blush.”
I walked away at this point to grab my bag, “Well, aren’t you full of compliments today.”
Noah laughed before grabbing his bag and walking over to the door waiting for me to exit so he could lock up.
We raced each other down the stairs (Noah won, I’m wearing high heels) and then stepped out of the apartment complex into the car park. I looked around to see where Noah was heading and he was stood next to a motor bike, adjusting a helmet.
“What you doing?” I queried. I was confused to say the least. I mean that wasn’t really his motor bike was it?
“Here put this on. Don’t want you messing up your hair.” Noah said sarcastically placing a helmet on top of my head.
“We’re going via motor bike?” I said, my voice shaky. To be honest the thought of riding a motor bike seemed quite thrilling and I did like the idea of it but being the baby that I am I was reluctant to do it.
