Laila's POV
We are currently in the car, leaving Washington DC, heading for NYC! I've never been to Nee York but Jacob has and he says it's beautiful. Every few stops we will stay two nights to soak in the glory, instead of one.
We still have about 3 more hours so I might as well make the best of it.
" hey want to play I spy?" I ask Jacob. We are comfortable cuddling in the back seat with tons of pillows and blankets because why not?
" sure, I'll go first. I spy with my little eye, something orange. " Jacob says. He is looking out the window but it's about noon so the sky is a beautiful shade of blue. I look around the car and an orange wrapper catches my eyes. Damn those cheetoes!
" the cheetoes wrapper?" I ask. I have a secret obsession, cheetoes, and Nutella(😂).
" yup" Jacob says popping the "p".
We go back and fourth a couple of times, picking things in the car and outside. It was actually very entertaining. We decided that this was the last one and it was my turn.
" eye spy with my little eye, something hazel" I say looking Jacob in the eyes. Ugh those big beautiful hazel eyes just get me every time. Every once and a while they have this little twinkle in them when he is really happy. I can see that twinkle right now.
" oh what could it be" Jacob says sarcastically because he knows it's his eyes.
" your beautiful eyes" I say still looking into them.
" you say my eyes are beautiful? Have you seen yours?! Ever since we were little kids I always thought they were the most beautiful thing ever. " he says looking into my green eyes.
" remember in kindergarten how you would say they look like those colored marbles that have the squiggly line in the middle" I say with a chuckle. ( AN: do you know what I'm talking about?).
" yes, those were some cool marbles" Jacobs says silently laughing.
We haven't broken eye contact in about 10 minutes now. It's silent, but not aquard. It's a nice silence. I love just staring into his eyes, I could do it for an eternity.
He glances from my eyes, to my lips, then back to my eyes. I already know what he is thinking, this boy geeze😂.
Before he can make a move I use his shoulders as leverage and push my lips on to his. Once again, explosion of fireworks!
I want to keep kissing him but it's kind of weird with Caroline and Tanner in the front seat. We are in one of those cars with 3 rows of seats. There are the front two, the middle two, and the back three. Our luggage is in the middle section, and Jacob and I are in the very back.
If we keep quiet , we can still kiss without them noticing.
Through all this thinking I've realized, I'm still kissing Jacob. That's ok with me.
I guess I didn't realize that my hands had moved from his shoulders to his hair. Dammit that happens every time. I want to pull my hands away because I know if I keep them is his hair he will eventually moan , like always. That would result in total embarrassment I front of Caroline and Tanner.
Finally I get the courage to pull away from the kiss even thought it was too amazing.
Jacob looks at me with a pouty face while I reset my fore head on his. After that I just laid on top of him with my head in the crook of his neck.
" you very comfy" I say with a giggle.
" and your very cute" he says.

Jacobs POV
So we just got into the city and we are pulling up to our hotel. It over looks time square, which is awesome!
Once we get out of the car I take Laila's and my luggage into the hotel, Tanner does the same with Caroline's. Laila and Caroline go to the front desk and get our room key.
To make it easier, we are getting a room for 4. There is a couch and a tv when you first walk in, then and area with 2 queen beds and another tv in the room. Laila and I will share one, and Tanner and Caroline will share one.
" I'm starving! Let's get something to eat!" Tanner says flopping on his bed.
" ya, what do you guys want to eat?" Laila asked. Soon after Caroline walks out of the bathroom with a flat iron in her hand.
" what place did you eat at while Chris Miles on his birthday when you were here last?" Caroline asks. Back when i was still on MagCon, I was in NYC the day after my song came out to go live at You Now headquarters. It was also my homie Chris miles birthday, so we went to a really cool restaurant in the city.
" I forgot what it was called but I remember where it is, and it's not far from here so we can walk. " I say.
Laila and I are hand in hand, same with Tanner and Caroline. We are walking down Wall Street in the crisp fall weather. I take a deep breath in and out enjoying the fresh air, well fresh for New York.
Our plans for today are to walk around and shop, and look at all the best places the city has to offer. Tomorrow we are going in a boat ride and to the Statue of Liberty. The next morning we are leaving for Niagra falls!
" oooo!! This top is so cute!" Laila says picking up a shirt of the rack. She holds it up to her and I have to say for myself, it is cute. It's a regular fitted shirt that has a cartoon-ish Nutella jar and hearts around it. She looks at the price tag, then puts it down. Me, being the best boyfriend ever, picks it up and buys it for her when she isn't looking. I've decided for her birthday, I will buy her all the things she wants, but doesn't buy herself. I will hid them in bags of stuff I bought for me, then on her birthday, I will give them all to her and each one will have a picture of us in the city we visited. She's gonna love it!
I've already bought her a sweatshirt and socks with tocos on them in Washington DC, in NYC, so far I've gotten her that Nutella shirt and a special ring, that will later be reveled.
Laila's POV
I've noticed Jacob has been really interested what I want to buy, but I never buy it because I want to save my money for something special for Jacob. He always buys me stuff and I want to make it up to him, he says I don't have too, but I want to. On his birthday I want to give him something that will mean a lot to us, but more to him. He will love it!
It's almost 7:30pm so we decided we would go back to the hotel and put on some fancier cloths and go out to that nice restaurant Jacob was talking about.
"Caroline what do you think?" I asked walking out of the bathroom in a light pink dress with silver sparkly heals, and a white cardigan, because it's kinda cold out side.
" you look beautiful Laila, Jacob gonna drool all over you tonight" she lays with a chuckle.
" he already does that every day" I say under my breath with a giggle.
" sorry I can't help that I drool over my beautiful girlfriend" he says walking up behind me.
" oh, you heard that?" I say with my cheeks turning a shade of pink.
" Laila, were in the same hotel room, how could I not " he says turning to face me. Once he sees my whole outfit his jaw dropped and he just kinda stares at me.
Caroline walks past him and pushes his jaw shut, only for it to drop again when she lets go.
" see, I told you" she says laughing.
I walk up to Jacob and close his mouth and lightly kiss his lips. I walk away to get my purse off my bed.
" y-you look a-amazing. Like ...woah!" He says following behind me.
" why thank you, your looking quite handsome yourself" I say straightening out his collar.
" Well you did pick out my outfit" he says. He was right. I even wrote him a list of all the matching possibilities of all his cloth, and I have to help him go shopping g for full outfits because he has style, but he just doesnt know how to put it together.
We arrive at the fancy restaurant, and oh my lord , it smells like heaven.
" oh my gosh do you smell that?!" I ask Jacob.
" I'm going to find out what that is and I'm going to make sure I order it!" Caroline says. I guess every one smelled the heavenly food.
" so what's good here?" Tanner asked Jacob after being seated.
" everything, literally nothing here is bad. " he says.
" well I know what I'm getting!" I say sipping away at my raspberry ice tea.
" and what may that be?" Jacob asked reaching for my hand under the table. I immediate felt butterflies as his fingers intertwined with mine.
I showed Jacob what I was getting pointing to it on the menu.
" I had that last time, and it's heavenly!"'he said. Nice word choice..😂.
* when food arrives*
" I've never wanted my food to come faster!" I say putting my clothes napkin over my lap.
I fake one bite and roll my eyes in amazement. " this is the best thing I've ever tasted!"
" how the hell did you find this place?" Tanner asked with food in his mouth. Classy.
" well I was just browsing the city with my mom and Chris, and we smelled the food from the sidewalk, so we decided to check it out, man I'm glad I did!" Jacob said.
* after dinner*
We were walking around Central Park holding hand. We were walking along the railing if this beautiful fountain. Caroline and Tanner had headed back to the hotel room to do who knows what. The hotel was just a block away and we would walk back when we were ready.
" it's just too beautiful" I saw looking at the skyline.
" ya, it is. " Jacob says looking at me , not at the sky. Me.
" who, me?" I ask confused.
" of course you, your way more beautiful than any city, as a matter of fact, your more beautiful than anything in this world. " Jacob said. That made me tear up because no one has been as sweet to me as he is.
He says I'm more beautiful than anything in this world. Well, he is my world. Thad why it's time to give him one of the two presents I have gotten for him.
" I have something for you, come sit with me. " I pulled him over to a bench my the fountain. I pulled out a box and set it beside me.
" let me see your bracelet. " I said. He gave me a confused look but he took it off and carefully handed it to me. I turned around and put on the new charm I had gotten for him. It was a charm of the earth, the world, because he is my world.
" here" I said giving it back to him with the newly added charm. He looked at it then smiled.
" what does it mean?" He asked. As all our charms had a meaning, I explained this one.
" I love it, ...I love you" he says. We stood up and he kissed me for a short time, yet it still meant a lot.
" I love you, more than the world " I say.
We locked our fingers gets together and just stood by that fountain, hand in hand, with his forehead heating on mine. We just stared into each others eyes for a little while, this was perfect, he was perfect.
We eventually broke our trance and walked back to the hotel. Caroline and Tanner were cuddled up in bed and Jacob and I did the same. I can't wait for more adventures, especially with him.
" good night princess" he said brushing the hair from by face.
" good night my prince. " was the last thing I said before drifting off into a deep sleep.
