Hayden's POV

I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. I tapped my fingers rhythmically on the fridge.

I wasn't really hungry, but everything that's going on with Kayla and I, I just always feel the need to distract myself.

And what am I going to do about Stacy? I basically cheated on her, by kissing Kayla. But I don't really like Stacy, but I feel like I have to be with her, because we've been together for a long time. And I really like Kayla, but I don't anything about her. I just met her a couple of days ago.

But I have to take a risk, right? That's how I started going out with Stacy.

*FLASHBACK*

I was walking across the street and I dropped my phone on the ground, while crossing the street.

I took a risk and ran to the middle of the road again to pick it up. I heard a beep and then I turned my head and saw a car pull to an immediate stop.

A girl, about my age, ran out of her car and to my side.

"What do you think you're doing? I could've run you over! Are you crazy?!" She asked/yelled at me, while she was helping me up.

"No, just trying to get my phone from off the road. Sorry about that." I said, while scratching the back of my neck and chuckling nervously.

"Well, that was very idiotic of you. Is a phone worth more than your life?" She continued to question me. I shrugged my shoulders and brushed myself off.

"Anyway, do you need any help? Is there anything that I could get you?" She asked me. She still looked a bit worried, but she remained smiling.

I just shrugged my shoulders again and put my phone back into my pocket, this time I checked it was secure.

"Well thank you. You know for not running me over." I said as I waved and begun to walk off.

"Yea, you're welcome." She said with a smile. I was half way down the next street, when I saw the same car that almost ran me over. The window rolled down and I saw her face again.

"Hop in, I'll buy you a coffee." She said.

There was no way I was going to turn down a free coffee. I jumped into the car and that day began the relationship of Stacy and Hayden.

*FLASHBACK*

I laughed to myself as I shook my head back to reality.

The truth is, times have changed. Stacy and I are no longer the, 'Couple Goals' we once were.

She wants something completely different to what I want. And I really don't see a future in our relationship.

I've made my decision.

Now I just have to go look for her.

Stacy's POV

I was just walking along the beach with my best friend, Alyssa. I really don't know why. But we are quite spontaneous like that.

She's been my best friend since Kindergarten. I don't remember exactly how we met, but we always make up some sort of story about it.

Anyway, we were walking along the beach, until I saw a very familiar face running towards me. I smile, as I have done every time I've seen him.

We've been together for a while now and I think I love him now more than ever. I look forward to seeing his face everyday. But today, he doesn't seem to feel that way about me.
