Hayden's POV
I couldn't stop thinking about Kayla. After everything that Zac and Josh told me about her depression and suicidal tendencies, I couldn't help but wonder how I didn't see any of it.Yes, I admit, she wasn't the most ositive person, but she had something about the that made her special, that made her unique.
Now I guess I know what it was.
I sat outside by where Zac's boat was tied up and played with my hands.
I watched as the water rippled, Everytime a bird swooped down to take a drink.
It was all so peaceful.
If this is how the world looks like, how does it look to Kayla? Does everything just look black? Does she not see the light or the happiness in any of this?
I don't think I will ever understand it. But I will help her get through it all, no matter how hard.
As I was thinking about all of this, I heard footsteps approaching from behind me.
"Hey. Are you okay?" Josh said, sitting down next to me.
"I just don't get it. Why is she depressed? What made her like this? And why won't she let me in and tell me? All I want to do for her, is help her and make her happy. She is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I want to make her feel like that too." I said.
There was a few seconds of silence before Josh spoke.
"Awwwwwww. Romeo speaking about his Juliet. You are such a romantic. I wish I could relate." He said.
He playfully slapped me on the back and laughed a bit.
"You will get her one day. Just as someone will get me one day too. Or at least, I hope so." He said, removing his hand and looking down at his feet.
"Hey don't give up. You're a good looking guy, somebody's ought to want to be with you. And even if they dont, I'll auction you off. I told him.
He looked at me and pretended to wipe away a fake tear.
"You are too kind my brother. What on Earth would I do without you? Who else would I rely on to give me such great, amazing and inspirational relationship advice?" He acted.
I rolled my eyes as he bursted into laughter.
At least he's happy. I still need to get answers.
About Kayla's depression, about the pregnancy, about the baby, about why she hasn't spoken to me. There's so much that comes with love.
"Well, I better be off, if I want to talk to Kayla. See you later at the house, bro." I said, getting up and wiping the dirt off my pants.
"Goodbye and good luck, my flower in blooming. Don't make her run away again." He told me, ad I begun to walk away.
I turned to face hum anf I poked the tounge at him.
"Hey! Save that for Kayla." He said.
"Shut up Josh!" I said, now picking my pace up.
I started to run.
The thing was, I had no idea where I was running to.
Zac's POV
"She showed off her powers to Lily." I told Kayla, as she was running up to us."Mimmi! Why did you expose yourself?" Kayla yelled at Mimmi, who was now stressing out.
"I didn't mean to. Stacy was threatening me, so I protected myself." She told us.
