I see the rain so cold and wet;
A refreshing sight, my worries forget.
I see it splashes down onto a puddle.
I see under umbrellas, people in a huddle.
I watch the water fill the sky;
It makes me want to fly so high!
I see the wide, expansive meadow:
Wet and lifeless under the the cloud's shadow.
As I see the clouds part away,
Just for sunlight, a secluded way!
A single spot brightened up;
A spot-light made for a frightened pup.
Hidden from sight, under a tree,
the Little puppy wet and in glee!
Such a sight brightens up a dreary day;
Tomorrow will be bright and safe,
Away from all the Clouds in Gray!
