"You awake?" Luke heard as he slowly began to sit up. "Yeah. What time is it?" Luke asked, and looked around. "It's a little after 3 in the morning." Michael said, and Luke's eyes widened in surprise.

"What? We should've been back by now." Luke said.

"I already got all of the stuff we need from my apartment. You were asleep, so I just left you alone." Michael said.

"Do you need me to drive?" Luke asked.

"No. I'm okay. We're gonna be there soon, and we can sleep for a few hours before I show you around." Michael said, and Luke nodded.

He watched ahead of them as Michael turned on a gravel road. The road turned back to pavement again as they drove slowly on several curves. They were going up a mountain or something.

Michael eventually parked, but all Luke could see was trees, and all he could hear was the light rain hitting the car.

"Goodnight, Luke." Michael said, turning off the car, and leaning his seat all the way back. Luke did the same thing, and smiled. "Goodnight."

-

Luke woke up just as soon as the sun started peeking through the trees. He yawned, and laid on his side, looking at Michael. The sun hit his face perfectly and hit all of the right features. Luke smiled, feeling his heart beat faster and faster for Michael.

"Good morning." Luke said when Michael started to stir around.

Michael smiled, and slowly sat his seat up, followed by Luke.

"I'm gonna set up the back and then I'll show you around." Michael said, and opened his car door.

Luke watched as Michael put down the back seats, and spread a big sleeping bag over the now flat surface. He put pillows at the top, and covered it with blankets.

"We'll sleep here later." Michael said, and got up. He waited for Luke to get out of the car before he led the blonde boy up the side of the mountain. "Be really careful. When you get to the top, there's not much room to stand." Michael said, and Luke nodded.

"I-I'm a little scared of heights. Is it bad?" Luke said, and Michael helped him up.

"Once you see the view, you'll forget about it." Michael said, and he was right. Luke's jaw dropped as he saw lanes of traffic below him along with tall buildings that looked so small. He could see all the way back to the woods. He could see the whole city.

He also couldn't help but notice the storm clouds that were coming over the edge of the city. They slowly moved towards Luke, making a lump grow in his throat. He's never liked storms.

"Oh, wow. We probably have ten minutes before the storm gets here, so what if we head back down?" Michael asked, just as it began to sprinkle. Luke nodded, and followed Michael, making sure to imitate his every step so he didn't fall.

They made it back to the car just as soon as the rain started to pick up. The both hopped in the back seat that Michael transformed into a bed just in time. Michael shut the trunk door quickly, and opened the back sunroof, keeping the window closed so they could see the rain falling down above them.

"Even though it started raining, that was a lot of fun." Luke said, and kicked off his shoes, setting them in the floor board of the front seat just like Michael did. When he laid back down, he noticed that Michael was already looking at him.

"You know, I usually don't like to bring people to these places with me." Michael said, and Luke frowned. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to intrude or anything. I just-"

"But you're different." Michael said, making Luke shut up.

"I am?" Luke asked, feeling his heart beat through his chest.

"Yeah. I have so much fun with you, and I don't mind taking you to all of my secret places." Michael said, making Luke smile.

A loud rumble of thunder broke the silence, and Michael noticed that Luke jumped.

"Can we close that? I'm really scared of storms, and I don't wanna see the lightning. Is it even safe that were sitting in a car? Isn't lightning attracted to cars?...." Luke rambled on and on while Michael shut the sunroof cover, and secured a blanket over the trunk window.

"Luke, we're gonna be fine. Come here." Michael whispered, and Luke didn't hesitate to crawl into Michael's lap. The black haired boy rested his back against the car wall, and pulled his knees up, holding the small boy as close as possible.

Luke felt Michael's hand run through his hair, which calmed him down a lot. Michael could still feel Luke shaking though.

"Need a smoke?" Michael asked, and Luke laid his head on Michael's shoulder.

"Not anymore." The blonde boy whispered, becoming more addicted to Michael's scent rather than the nicotine.
