So from what I've heard about 154 black people have been killed to date by police officers. The names listed in the image are part of that.

Why?

Why are we getting killed for being innocent? Alton Sterling had PERMISSION to sell CDs out of his car in the store owner's lot by the store owner.

I have seen the video, it's traumatizing.

I don't like seeing people die.

Alton Sterling's death should not be justified. (White) People have been trying to justify his death by saying he was resisting arrest.

How the f*ck do you try to resist arrest when both of ya arms are restrained by a knee and another arm?

I don't know if the rest of the guys listed have a video of them being killed but I don't want to see it. You are not obligated to watch people die if it leaves a mark on your mental health so sorry I can't.

The police not only target Black Men or Black Women, they target Black Boys and Black Girls too.

My older brother is a black boy.

He takes the bus to and from school, the public bus.

Sometimes he has to stay after so when he gets on the bus it's dark.

He has to take a train, and 2 buses to get back home, we live in the ghetto side of town and he takes a train and 2 buses to get to his school which is a really good school.

But sometimes the 2nd bus takes too long so he just walks home.

He's always wearing a hoodie, not over his head because his afro is a big enough cover and the hoodie can't fit over his head.

What if one day a cop decides to try him?

My brother has manners, good grammar (unlike me sometimes) and good intentions.

What if a cop decides to try him because all they see is him arriving in the ghetto,in a hoodie, a huge afro, and he's coming home while its dark?

I don't want to one day be waiting for him at dinner and have someone knock at the door and tell us something bad happened.

What if one day a cop rolls in and sees him running around fake shooting at people and decides to "protect" the rest of the kids by shooting him?

What if I get off the bus with my friends and we go to the mall.

We go to a couple stores, buy some stuff, and leave laughing because those are friends you always laugh with friends.

A cop sees us thinking we're laughing because we stole something without getting caught and decides to wrestle me.

Me being me caught in the moment would probably try to get out his grip cause I have no clue what I did.

He or she is not going to shoot me at the mall, so they'll probably take me to a cell.
