My eyes widened as I took look at the house. It was beautifully decorated with photos in frames on the wall. She chuckled at my expression of amazement as she showed me around. The house was equipped with two bathrooms, my own room, a kitchen, a living room, my aunts bedroom and even a room full of instruments." I've heard you liked music and so I've made place for all that stuff. You do play an instrument right?", she asked. I nodded and knew she expected a little bit more as an answer. She looked slightly frustrated but knew she had to be patient with me.
We walked to the kitchen again and she took some indigents out of the fridge. As she did that she said:" I won't need any help but you can go upstairs and make yourself a home." She smiled softly and stroke a strand hair behind her ear.
I sighed as I put all of my belongings out of my bag. It wasn't much but everything I owned, including a necklace hanging around my neck. " the few things I own could never fill this big room. I don't even know what I'm doing here", thought and continued unpacking. I had a queen size bed, an empty shelf and a desk. It was more than I've ever had so I didn't complain. I noticed that everything was on its right place and became bored. I was scared that I would get scolded or even worse as I entered the music room but couldn't resist the urge. My fingers arched as I saw the piano. It was beautiful. It seemed a little used but the black paint glistened in the sun. The desire to play it grew irresistible. I brushed my fingertips on the key and pressed. A melodious sound escaped and echoed through the room. I sat down and played. My fingers moved on their own as I played. Deep sad tones chimed. Putting all my feelings in my fingers I closed my eyes, feeling strands of my hair falling in my face. I heard a noise and stopped immediately. I saw my aunt at the door as she watched me. "How long did she stand there?", I asked myself but didn't dare to to say a word to her. I was surprised to find her looking at me with soft and gentle eyes instead of rage." I heard the music and was wondering what it was. That was beautiful Kate. What was that?", she asked with a warm smile. I hesitated as I answered. " Actually it was just something that came up my mind. Nothing serious." " Really? It seemed like something written from a composer. It was so sad but still calming. I knew it wouldn'd be a bad idea if I buy all those things." She laughed and continued:" Anyways, dinner is ready. I gave you much because you look like a skeleton", said and her eyes twinkled in the light. I felt slighty hurt but knew that it wasn't her fault. I am skinny and she didn't know why.
Dinner was nice bit a bit awkward. I ate two plates and was now showered and in my bed. I felt refreshed and smelled the lotion on my skin. I couldn't remember the last time I felt so satisfied in my belongings as now. My eyes got heavier and heavier and as I fell asleep.
