REMUS, SIRIUS, JAMES, PETER, AND LILY are all standing in the Gryffindor Common Room. Peter keeps constantly checking his watch and James is pacing near the fireplace.

The only light in the room is a small candle that's flickering by the window. "What time is it, Wormtail?" James asks in a whisper.

"Midnight," he mumbles and the clock chimes just as Peter says the time.

"James will you please stop pacing it's making me nervous!" Lily says. James gives her a smile. Remus sits on the couch as Sirius stuffs some of Lily's makeup into a small bag along with a few bags of honey and some instant hair removal cream and a can of gold spray paint.

Everyone is dressed in all black, including Lily who was dragged out of her dorm just thirty minutes prior.

Remus has to refrain from staring at Sirius who is wearing practically every leather material known to man; excluding the mesh shirt that reveals his entire chest. So instead, he gazes at the moon which is full.

"What time is it Peter?" James asks again. "Twelve-ten, Prongs," he says, putting down his book.

Remus stands up and James, Lily, and Peter have grins on their faces.

"Let's go, Marauders! And Lily," Sirius says with a laugh.

Remus walks down the quarter following closely behind James and Lily which are whispering to each other. "Now is not the time to canoodle, Prongs zip it!" Sirius mumbles, turning around and facing them. Lily's cheeks are now as red as her hair. Peter is snickering behind Remus.

Suddenly, a scraggly, old-looking cat circles Remus' feet. The cat has one bad eye and is giving glares at the five of them. It meows and Sirius turns, startled.

"Shit! Filch is nearby! Hurry, get into the Slytherin Common Room!" James so softly but loud enough for Peter to hear. Remus runs with Peter trailing behind him to a large black and green door. Sirius hisses the password at the door and it clicks open.

Remus can feel his heart beating heart in his chest as he catches his breath. The Common Room was dark with only the moonlight shining in from the windows. It is deserted by the looks of it.

"Lily, here's your half," James says, pulling out some scissors and a bag of honey with some feathers and throwing it to her. She catches it with ease and grins as she heads to the girl's dormitories as James trails behind her. Sirius hands Peter the can of spray paint and nods at him. "Keep watch."

"Remus, come with me," Sirius says grabbing Remus' hand in his and tugging them to the boy's dorms.

Sirius stops at room thirty-five. Remus can hardly see him but he knows he is close because he can feel his breath on his neck.

His hand is tingling once Sirius let's go and picks the door. He twists the handle open and Remus can see Lucius's frame lying on the only bed in the room. The room is quite messy, so Remus watches where he steps.

Sirius kneels by the bed and pulls out the hair removal cream and places it on one of his eyebrows. He winks at Remus who is refraining from giggling. Remus spots a black bottle of what seems to be hair product and nudges Sirius as he digs in the back.
